To Clean or Not to Clean?

For context, these coins were taped to a piece of cardboard pretty much since 1967 or shortly after by my grandparents, but this has caused them to tarnish in a very "unique" way. I heard that cleaning them somehow decreases their value, but I'm not sure they'd be worth much more than their silver content in this condition anyway. My only concern is if cleaning them would somehow damage them.

Moving my first $5k out of a bank TFSA. What is a good balance?

I've had a bank TFSA for years that really hasn't been doing much for me. I'd like to start moving money out of it and buying (primarily) XEQT in a wealthsimple TFSA. What would a good balance of XEQT to some other ETFs/stocks? Any suggestions are welcome as I'm still rather new to this.
