I’ve always liked reading random stuff on the internet...weird history, mysteries, psychology, science, obscure stories, etc.

But I realized I rarely actually go looking for these things because I never know what to search for.

So I started making a really simple website that just gives you an interesting article whenever you want one. No feed to scroll through, no deciding what topic to search for. Just open it and see what you get.

I’m trying to make it more about discovering random things you wouldn’t normally come across rather than current news.

And I also want it to be something the users can contribute to like if you come across an article that you find genuinely interesting, you can suggest it and it gets reviewed before being added.

I’m still working on it and honestly don’t know if this is even a useful idea lol.

Would you actually use something like this?

And what kind of articles would make you think “holy shit, I need to read this” and keep coming back?

I'm genuinely tired of my college admin. I've been inconsistent in my 2nd year of college because of some mental health issues,mainly, anxiety.

And as a result, i missed some exams , internals and practicals as well and now I have got a year backlog. I asked admin about it if I am supposed to clear it as a regular student (re admission) or as an ex student. They told me since I don't have any medical documentation, i am not eligible for re admission (as a regular student), so I was like ok and what about missed internals and practicals???

(And for the first time they told me to enquire about this with your tic and later when I did tic said contact admin)

They told me to ask some other teacher about it so I did and that teacher took 3 days and said I need to confirm my options with admin. 💔

And now I don't feel like going back to admin because they can be rude sometimes, which trigger my anxiety real bad.

The first time I went there they didn't even instruct me properly about the procedure I needed to follow , they just told me you are not eligible for re admission. And i couldn't make myself speak further, i don't know.

Now my anxiety is geniunely killing me. I can't make myself go to college and ask admin about it again.

Idk what m i supposed to do😔

i was running today in my normal zone 2 pace and suddenly after running for 1.5k my abdomen got hit with a sharp pain (right side specifically). I couldn't continue my run due to the pain.

It ain't the first time. I've experienced the same thing before.

I'm a newbie and this 1.5k was my fastest so im just wondering if running for long without taking breaks (which i usually used to take before) could be a reason?

So yeah... I pretty much missed almost my entire second year because of some personal stuff, and now I'll be repeating the year. (comeback era, hopefully 😭)

I'm honestly kinda anxious about going back and attending classes with the junior batch. I know it's probably not a huge deal in the long run, but it feels weird to think about it right now.

And then there's my old batchmates... a lot of them know me, so I'm not really sure how that's gonna feel either lol.

If anyone here has repeated a year or had to start over academically, how was your experience? Did the awkwardness eventually go away? 😭

Before y'all jump me, I'm not saying every person who dislikes Emiway is classist.

But let's be real for a second.

A lot of people seem more bothered by where Emiway came from than by the actual music. Dude made it big from a basti, built an audience independently, didn't have industry connections, and speaks the way he naturally does. Yet you'll constantly see people mocking his accent, the way he talks, his audience, and even where he's from.

And I'm not talking about just Reddit or online hip-hop communities. I mean in general. You see the same attitude on Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and even in real life conversations. The criticism often goes beyond the music and turns into subtle digs at the kind of people who listen to him or the background he comes from.

If a rapper from an upper-middle-class background used the same confidence and self-promotion, it'd be called branding. Emiway does it and suddenly he's "chapri", "cringe", or "uneducated".

What's funny is that people love the idea of a self-made success story until the successful person actually looks, talks, and behaves like someone who came from a lower-income background. Then all sorts of stereotypes start showing up.

There are plenty of valid reasons to criticize him. Maybe you don't like his flow. Maybe you think his bars are weak. Maybe you prefer other artists. That's fair.

What I find weird is when people act like his entire success is some kind of mistake while simultaneously celebrating every "self-made" success story.

Feels like some people are more comfortable with the idea of a self-made artist than the reality of one coming from a basti and talking like someone from a basti.

TL;DR: Not all Emiway criticism is classist, but a lot of the hate he gets seems tied to his background, accent, and audience rather than just his music.

I feel like a lotta people look at AI in IHH scene in a very black-and-white way.

Most independent artists ain't backed by labels, ain't got big budgets, and can't always afford designers, cover artists, marketers, or allat. So if an artist is using AI for cover art concepts, visualizers, promo material, or other stuff outside the music itself, I don't really see the issue.

The problem ain't AI itself, it's where it's being used in the creative process.

Using AI to speed up non-creative tasks is completely different from using it to write your lyrics, make your songs, or do the actual artistic work for you.

One is just improving efficiency, the other is replacing creativity.

People act like AI is some completely foreign thing to music, but artists have always adopted new technology. DAWs, autotune, sample packs, digital distribution, all of that got pushback at some point too.

At least for me, the conversation shouldn't be "AI bad" or "AI good." It should be whether AI is helping an artist execute their vision or whether it's creating the vision for them. That's where the line is.

so hey guys I'm in 4th sem rn and I've been struggling w sum health issues due to which I've completely missed my sem 3 exams and missed every single internal and practical for Sem 4.

On top of that I've 2 ERs from sem 2.

I initially filled out the form to give the Sem 2 ERs this semester, but I haven't been able to study and plan to skip them.

Since I will definitely be repeating my 2nd year as an ex-student, I need some clarity

1: When I repeat Sem 4 next year, can I give my Sem 2 ER papers at the same time?

2: do I have to attend classes regularly in my repeat year?

Kinda stressing out about this, so any help would mean a lot.
