Hello everyone,

like the title suggests i hear no difference in a low d and middle d. and I have the same issue with all the notes that use the third left hand button and the octave key. even if I play a D, G, E or F and I press the octave key while holding the note I hear no difference. I've checked and the hole that gets opened by combining the octave key and third left hand key is not clogged and seals well so I think it's me. what can i do to prevent this?

i just started renting a jupiter jas-767-769 sax from a local music shop and i plan on buying it after the rent since it's secondhand, in very good condition, cheap and it's already checked by the music shop. should i get a new/better mouthpiece for it? i've seen some people say that you should get a better mouthpiece on cheaper saxophones online nad so i wonder is it worth it? and if so what should i get?

Hello everybody, i want to find a cheap beginner saxophone to see if i can learn the instrument on my own and see how good i could get on it but i don't want to buy a super expensive one. i also don't want to buy the cheapest amazon saxophone either because that might leave a bad impression because of quality or smth. what are some beginner recomendations under 400 euros? i live in Belgium so can't get anything from usa.
also this might have already been answered in this sub already but google gave no real reddit links and i don't want to scroll through the entire subreddit to find the same question.
