Snap on Credit line

Wanting to rebuild my credit and my dealer can get me approved I should of talked with him a bit more but I’ll have a chance next week to do so , I have a truck account for tools and already have a pretty decent box from harbor freight
Is the Snap On credit just used for tool boxes / shop equipment or can I use it on tools to build credit that way.
I only pay him $80 a week on truck account at the moment
Thanks

Fixing credit

I somewhat understand how credit works I rent a house with my soon to be fiancée and make pretty decent money turning a wrench but when I turned 18 I opened a few credit card accounts through PayPal and capital one now at 24 I’m having to deal with adolescent mistakes
Would paying out each collection help my score or opening a secured card through my USAA bank minimum I can put down is $250 max is 5k I’m a lot more mentally ready to deal with life so not maxing it out or using it for anything but credit building wouldn’t sit right with me just very embarrassed to have this but I put myself into this hole time to get out I suppose
I understand not paying collections doesn’t make it look good
