Revamping my study plan

I recently just cancelled my test date for 9/11. I was planning on studying 3 months. Month 1 was mostly content review using Prof. Eman videos and pairing with MilesDown Anki. Month 2 I started UWorld and wanted to get through as much of it in that month. In an ideal world I wanted to aim for 59 questions a day. Month 3 would have been AAMC bank and full lengths. I only got to starting UWorld before feeling overwhelmed and my mid results on the question banks made me feel like I was not prepared content wise.

I’m seeking any advice on what I should change to my study plan. I plan on registering to test at some point in January, so if I really need to I can retake again late April before next years application cycle.

What resources are best for helping generate a comprehensive schedule because that’s where I think I got off on the wrong foot?

Is it okay that I get a lot of questions wrong on UWorld at first? Does that mean I’m wasting them and I should do more content review first?

What resource is best for tracking mistakes?

Any other advice for me as I gear up to finally go all in?

Just cancelled my 9/11 test date, what do I do next?

I was just never able to get into the full groove. My content review phase was slow and by the time I needed to start doing UWorld I wasn’t even halfway done with content.

I felt so ridiculously overwhelmed by the amount I still didn’t know and that really slowed me down. A couple of weeks ago I officially gave up and as I really didn’t think I’d be at a point where I’d do well enough to score the 517+ I want.

As I gear up to test in January what are some suggestions so I don’t go wrong where I did last time? When do I start? How should I structure the phases of studying? I would really appreciate advice.

Here’s what my idea of studying was going into this summer as I tried to do a 3 month preparation:

Month 1: content review with Prof. Eman videos and pair with Anki

Month 2: do as much UWorld as I can

Month 3: AAMC materials and FLs

Input for 2 day itinerary at Yosemite

Doing a trip to Yosemite next week and I’m hoping for some input on my itinerary. Doing three nights there so the 2 days there are full ones with no traveling. Staying about 30 minutes away from the Yosemite park entrance. This will also not be on the weekend so hopefully crowd levels are lower.

I would greatly appreciate any input or suggestions on changes you would make to this for it to be more logical.

Coming in from Big Oak Flat entrance

Day 1:
7:30 am - Bridalveil Fall
8:30 am - Tunnel View
9:15 am - Mist Trail to Vernal Fall
Lunch
2 pm - Sentinel Bridge
2:45 pm - Valley Loop Bike Trail
5 pm - El Capitan Viewpoint
5:45 pm - Lower Yosemite Falls loop

Day 2:
7:30 am - Mariposa Grove loop
Drive to Glacier Point
11:30 am - Glacier Point
Drive to Sentinel Dome/Taft Point Trailhead
1 pm - Sentinel Dome + Taft Point Loop
Open to suggestions on what to add to this day
