So recently, I did a google search on the Fanhome Robocop build and to my surprise I’ve seen people completing their models. There is an active Facebook group that shares a lot of pictures. Anyhow, I started the RoboCop build on 6/24- about 2 years and 2 months ago. Initially building it, I completed the lower half (legs and hips) as well as the arms. There were a few shipments that came with duplicate parts which Fanhome replaced with the proper parts within a few months. In one box, there was a package that was completely missing an important part that connects the head to the upper torso. I contacted Fanhome expecting a speedy shipment but that was in May. I have not received it. Now, what I have done is the legs and hips as well as arms. At some point, I was supposed to receive the package that connects the lower half of the cyborg to the top torso half but it’s been on back order since 12/25. Now, being on expected package 25 with a few more to finish the model I am left with random parts of my cyborg but unable to put it together. I am so close the end but i am reconsidering spending the 270 or whatever dollars it’s going to take to complete it. I am nearly 2,000 dollars in on a set of random junk.

When I initially started this model it was 70-75 dollars a package monthly, now it’s 90. The customer service isn’t necessarily bad but leaves me wondering where the parts are. I believe I will never do a subscription model again because of the amount of time it takes. Also some parts of the model are poor quality while other parts are metal. Now the excitement of wanting to complete this model has diminished and I just want it over with. Should I wait it out?

As the title asks-anybody? Is it easy to get them reinstated? I’ve been service connected with a fiducary for many, many years now. Around 6 months ago, because of some unfortunate circumstances my fiducary told me they had to resign. Over the past 6 months things have gone as usual and we have not heard back from the VA, I was still receiving payments. Now, talk about bad timing I am traveling abroad in a different country for a few weeks. I do not check my text messages very often because to be honest nobody really texts me, I mainly get phone calls. Today, I get a phone call from my current Fiducary that the VA is trying to get ahold of me (and it’s never the same person with the VA, although each person told me they are handling my stuff indefinitely). My current Fiducary tells me they urgently need to talk to me and they are in the process of suspending my benefits. I double check my phone and there were no phone calls from said VA person. I went back through my text messages and there was one text message a few days ago. Only 1 text message no phone calls nothing, only a text. The text said hello this is - please call to schedule an appointment. Now because it is time sensitive, I am told I have just a few days to handle this and meet before my benefits are suspended. If I would have known this I would not have traveled outside of the United States. I am somewhat frustrated because of the timing but after dealing with the VA for many years, I am used to them being at times unresponsive until they need to speak to me. The last person assigned to my case never answered a phone call or text but expected me to always answer when they called. It’s tough. I call and text this person back with no response and now I am waiting to hear anything and assuming my benefits are going to be suspended because I cannot handle this in a specific time frame. Does suspended mean they withhold the pay and pay it back later? Or it’s suspended and you don’t get anything during that period? I am a wreck right now and it’s hard to think that I would just lose my stuff just like that, my mind just goes to living on the street.

I ordered from UberEATs frequently in the past and took advantage of the different offers and the buy one get one free was always nice. Within the past few weeks, all of the restaurants have taken the offers off their page- no more buy one get one at Burger King or McDonalds or even at the Chinese restaurant I order from. Now they have this “flash deal” thing that is okay, but at like 11pm at night. I go to a specific hot chicken place and when I order within the restaurant 3 different entrees it’s just over 60 dollars. I wanted to order the same thing for my family today and the total on UberEATs was 107.00 dollars. Each entree has an outrageous markup and in order to get a deal I’ve got to use Apple Pay which isn’t even a deal just lower fees. I’ve made the decision to delete the app. Now I will just get an app for a particular restaurant and order out.
