Super tough choice to put Dame on the bench but yeah I feel this would be the most complete lineup in terms of offensively and defensively.

First it was Anirudh, now Sai.....

As a D fan, this was most likely Dhanush's decision cuz he is the producer and because he is prolly impressed with Sai as they are working together for OM rn, but man why not Sana he did an exceptional job for Vada Chennai and has had many great albums in the past with D and is still very much in good form. Also SANA has constantly supported them despite them choosing other MD's over him and constantly gave them credit. No shade or offence to Ani or Sai who are also great MD's but just disappointed with Vetri and D for this.

Dhanush already has 3 films to finish before getting to this one, he is shooting OM rn and will finish by next month, Around September he will start the Tamizharasan Pachamuthu film and by next year he will begin the Mari Selvaraj movie next year and that will take atleast 4-5 months of shoot as it is made on a massive scale apparently. Moreover Vetrimaaran will have to finish Arasan and Rajan Vagaiyara and he will prolly need huge prep work and pre production for this so yeah. We aint getting this any time soon and who knows it might even get delayed even further or shelved. Anyway D x Vetri is always exciting so lets hope they give us something good.

Kinda crazy how every different look of him in the film kinda embodies a different persona and how he manages to maintain it without disrupting the continuity is just pure genius as an actor.

I know it's most likely Rajini's decision to go with Anirudh and prolly helps for the business aspect of the film but cmon man just try something different for once, also this not completely risky cuz leon james gave a blockbuster album for Dragon also he has a good rapport with Ashwath. This is the reason why Sean Roldan, Sam CS, Darbuka Siva and many more underrated MD's all kinda failed to reach their potential. Feel bad for him tbh
