For names sake im gonna use fake names so my kid, emma, 2 f. Her father adam 32m. And i F 26. Adam, wasn't in my kids life since before she was born. He isnt on the birth certificate either and i had to block him originally coz he said that my kid was someone else's coz my friend bob took me for my first scan. 2 years later after no contact he came back and started trying to act as if it never happened and would be upset if I point out he hadn't been there. Eg if emma fell over she would come to me not him and he would be upset I would say its normal I've been here this whole time so she knows to come to me for comfort. He started acting as if he was gonna move in. Small things like saying about "his side of the bed" and things needed to be more accommodating to him. He then started saying he didnt want contact with his older child from a previous relationship who is now 14 and is going through a tough time having to move in with her aunt and out of her mom's. During that contact with him started to become strained coz of it and I backed away and before his next due visit he was more focused on trying to get back me than with emma. Which made me uncomfortable. I wanted to give him time to sort out the situation with his older kid and before long his messages started getting manipulative, gripping and felt as if it was emotional blackmailing and it would be the same message on 2 different messaging platforms so contact was cut further. I constantly say if its about emma we can talk otherwise no. He kept asking what he did wrong so I told him with screenshot of the messages which were manipulative. He kept saying he would leave me alone and get help then come back to be a better dad. He would message weekly and even go back to asking what he did wrong for me to "go 180" in the end I blocked him to try and force him to take that time to get help. Now 4 different numbers and getting his brother to also contact me and even using the reference on transferring money to contact me. So in total thats 3 different messaging platforms snapchat, whatsapp and text, 4 different numbers, and had his brother also messaging me as a middleman. I have made an appointment with the police. I dont know what else to do. I didnt have my dad growing up so feel bad for emma but I dont feel like he is safe for me or her to be around him.
