Foodie itinerary

Hi All. I’m planning a 5 day trip to Provence in the last week of July. I’m hoping you can give me some tips please on where to stay. I’d like to eat great lamb, cheese, tomatoes, strawberries/other fruit & veg and see some lavender if possible. I’d also like to do an olive oil tour and perhaps truffle if it’s in season. I have no interest in wine. I would like to see a few food markets and cute villages with shops but no hiking. Where should I stay and what should I plan to do each day? Thank you in advance !!

Today went in for a routine appt completely unrelated to my thyroid and the doc asks for a family history. I tell him my mother has had a long history of thyroid issues but benign. He orders my routine tests then decides to feel my thyroid, where he says he can feel an “enlargement”. Fast forward, I get an ultrasound done by an experienced sonographer who I have a good relationship with and she said to me, yes you have one thyroid nodule but nothing to be worried about, it looks benign, the doctor will probably order a biopsy just to confirm. Then monitor it with yearly ultrasounds. Uh.. what! Biopsy?! My mother has never had to get one done despite multiple nodules/a massive goitre as she says they can tell from ultrasound right away that it’s benign and she gets monitored. Now I’m freaking out and in all honesty, I don’t want to go down the biopsy rabbit hole, get “inconclusive” then end up in surgery for something that was benign. I only want a biopsy if there is something to be suspicious of - has anyone ever declined one and what would you do? Second opinion?
