why does wedding season cost more than my actual rent 😭
I have four weddings coming up this season and I’m genuinely stressed... our group chat literally keeps receipts and my cousin will 100% call me out if I rewear anything from 2022. meanwhile Sharma aunty is asking "beta tumhara kab hai" for the fifth time like auntie please I am just here to eat paneer tikka in peace 💀
I was panicking at 3am because my bank account was crying looking at $500 designer lehengas online. ended up stumbling onto a brand that just took a gamble on two outfits for around $60 each... was lowkey expecting them to feel like cheap cardboard in person but they actually looked beautiful and no one in the chat clocked a thing. I got so many compliments that it felt like I was the one getting married. Honestly tho, for the price, this was absolutely phenomenal.
anyway how are you guys surviving this season... renting, buying cheap, or just rewearing stuff and ignoring the judgments? need to know before the next invite drops lol
