I've realized that my favorite conversations are usually the ones that start somewhere unexpected. Not because small talk is bad. Honestly, I think a lot of people enjoy it and that's perfectly fine. I've just always been the person who's more interested in whatever's underneath it. I want the long version of the story not the short one.
