Finally hitting my steps while working

After starting WFH, I was frustrated that I hadn't been able to reach my step goal.

On certain days, I would have hardly crossed two to three thousand steps.

It’s been like 2 weeks now and I’m actually getting my steps in without thinking too much about it. Didn’t expect it to stick tbh but I’ll take it.

After 8 hrs sitting in front of a computer, you’re likely mentally tired but not yet physically tired. Your brain hasn’t really learned to distinguish the two yet. Once I started fueling properly and adding small movement, getting steps in felt more doable. Ended up getting a walking pad from merach and just started using it during random work gaps

Personally, I’ve found it relatively easy to type while using a walking pad, as long as I’m walking very, very slowly (like under 1 mph). If I go any faster than that, even using the mouse properly becomes difficult.
