How to follow up on a job application?

Hello! I see many suggestions to send a follow up email on an application after some amount of time with no response. How would I find the contact info for the position I’m applying for? Thank you!

Please help, recent grad!

Hello everyone! I graduated in 2025 with a bachelors of science (neuroscience major, English lit minor, health humanities concentration). I’ve worked as a pharmacy technician and babysitter for all of my adult life to get through college, but I’m currently struggling to figure out what I want to do as a career/ what’s even available with my qualifications that I may not know about. If anyone is willing to share any positions they are in, or know I would qualify for with my experience, please let me know. Thank you all so much, seriously any info will help even if it’s a stretch because I’m not opposed to obtaining more education, just looking for real suggestions from people who see the ins and outs everyday. Thank you!

Is this normal??

Hello! I applied to a DHA position that closed on 7/29. It’s been two weeks and I haven’t gotten anything after my confirmation that my application went through. When I check the status it says received. I’m assuming it’s just the timeline but I’m nervous that I’m not being looked at or they already chose someone since it’s DHA. All advice/input welcome!

Help! Is this dress a good choice?

Hello everyone! I need help deciding if this is a good wedding guest dress choice. Backstory: I was invited to my boyfriend’s sisters wedding, he is in the wedding party and wearing a pale yellow tie to match the bridesmaid he is pared with who is wearing a pale yellow dress. I wouldn’t typically wear light yellow out of fear of it being photographed white, BUT it was recommended by the bride that I match his tie color so in photos my boyfriend and I match. The attire is garden party/semi formal and is mostly out doors, and it’s a fancy venue. Attached are photos of the dress I absolutely love. Given the dress code I would most definitely go with the shorter option as it looks far less black tie. I would also choose shoes that match a color in the embroidery. Thoughts? Thank you!!
