Migraines

How do you know if you're migraines are hormone related, or the GLP1? I was microdosing with little to no side effect of Tirzepatide. Now at 2.5mg I have a migraine, but I'm also o perimenopause. I do get hormonal migraines when I was younger, I also get allergies and migraines with it.

How do you even separate which one is which??

I'm on .05mg estradiol patch and 100mg progesterone.

I usually get a headache on my period whenever it happens coz it comes and goes now, and or what was the expected ovulation dates and they are horrible..

I take rizatriptan 5mg for really really bad migraines.

What help you? Does it matter what was the cause?

The most recent one was 30 minutes after my 2.5mg shot (my first 2.5, but it's my 14th shot).

I am used to getting migraines. They've been getting more frequent now and it seemed like they're very timely around my cycles. My husband used to notice that it's around whenever I had my period. Now that I am perimenopausal, skipping periods, but not the migraine. This month I had what I thought my first day of period, but was just a spotting the whole 8 days. Massive headache for the whole day gone the next day. On the 11th day the start of my "ovulation" had another mild headache workable I didn't need to take medication. Today I woke up with a headache it's the 14th day and I'm supposed to be ovulating. Headache building when I woke up and full blown around 10:00 had breakfast and took ibuprofen 600 mg and I felt better the whole day until 4:00 p.m. didn't get to take another pill till 7:15 and now it's 9:15 seem to be getting better with the medication blood pressure is normal, I took antihistamine just in case it's allergies I took my progesterone and a very little Ativan so I can sleep without feeling like I'm going to die.

I'm not sure what I want here, but maybe some reassurance there's relief? I even changed my patch just in case it was running low I was set to change it tomorrow should I increase it to .075mg? My periods have 33% reliable it's sad. I'm only 43 but I'll be happy without it just as long as it take the headache with it.

Is this normal??
