This happens exclusively on 720p 60, freestyle v2 vtx and nano 90 camera. 540p works perfectly on 90fps/60fps, and yes when im using 720p i am on the wide bandwith mode. This happens when switching to 720 and when booting up on 720. I experience no concerns with 540p (range, penetration as expected). This is on firmware version 1.7.0 but it also happens on 1.8.0.
I fly HDZero and analogue. As soon as i try and compare images anywhere, people come up with loads of excuses about how its "barely an upgrade" or just "analogue with poorer range and penetration".
Maybe its because of videos where people use older HDZero cameras? The nano 90 is great and analogue is just a mushy mess in comparison. Here is an image of my ratel 2 and nano 90 side by side both captured on the hdzero goggles 2. I have attempted to get them roughly in the same spot as there is clearly much more detail and depth on the hdzero video than analogue, even though the actual resolution isnt technically that much higher.
Also please note this is HDZero 540p 90, it would look even better on 720p 60. The only reason i have no video of 720 is because the firmware version of my vtx seems to have a bug that is preventing me from using it so I will soon downgrade the firmware.
SETUP:
I have a 3 inch toothpick that has a hdzero eco vtx & camera. The aio is a goku 1s 12A HD f405 board. My gps is a gep-10 nano which is positioned in front of the body of the toothpick/stack on a petg mount with a copper foil shield placed between the stack and the GPS. The GPS wires are also copper shielded.
ISSUE:
When the vtx is turned off (board powered by USB) i can get a good 12-15 sats locked on, but as soon as i turn the vtx on i immediately drop down to 4 sats and then often going to 0. I believe it may be to do with the vtx itself (not the antenna) because this is even happening on pit/0mw mode when no signal is even being transmitted.
Does anyone have any ideas/solutions?
Random Hdzero sparkles mid cruise. Ever since the signal quality has not recovered and i can only get a clean image with my antennas literally touching the antenna. Tried a new antenna, yes its seated properly. Not in pit mode either, 200mw and 25mw are acting the same. Can anyone help? Im at a loss
