Hi all ! I am a 23F in relationship with a 25M (2.5 years together). Used to be in College together. Long distance happened 6 months back. I wish all of you to give me an honest opinion so that I dont make any wrong decision please . So the thing is..I started my job first in a startup just earning 18k as an intern then ...my bf wasn't able to garb an opportunity except for a service based company in which both had been placed...however the offer letter took a lot of time to come. So in the midst of it...I requested my aunt so that he could do an internship in railways as an ai intern which he did later...he gave many offcampus interviews too but to no avail . At that time I asked the HR of that startup (I was working in) to take his interview but that also failed . Sometime later the service based offer letter came...and he both decided to join (I joined it cause startup was really really toxic). In the meanwhile his uncle referred him at a good company which he was able to crack initially the internship was of 25k with no promise of getting a fulltime... because of that both of us used to be really stressed...my mother knew of our relationship and because he was not employed earlier...she had asked me to leave him ...I had fought a lot at home...stopped talking to my other for a week or two..

Finally my bf has recieved his offer letter of 9lpa and tbh I am very happy for him... recently I told him that during the struggle phase I had wished to donate something in the temple which he used to regularly go and when I told him this he said..."jeb me jitne paise hain utna hi socha kro" (my inhand is 25k only) . I was taken aback...I know he is not wrong but I feel like a fool idk why.

I fear because of this gap in salary I wouldn't be treated well. I voiced it out to him and he said he would take care...

Even though we had a call and I cried so much about it...I mean I used to be the topper in my friends group knew so much about my field yet i am here rotting in this market while everyone is placed and happy...and I want to be happy for them but I am treated like this...one of my very close female friend also ghosted me...after getting placed in a good company.

After pacifying me in the evening tbh he really listened (for 2 hrs straight) ...he suddenly started talking dirty at night..I am definitely not in the mood...I tried to dodge it did not reply to certain things he said and then he was about to umm well show me his jewel when i cut the call...

Idk what is happening but I feel disgusted ..
