got this VX2100 for 250$ of off facebook marketplace. he didn’t test it but it came with extra batteries and tapes. decided to pull the trigger and go ahead and get it. if not for a film camera then as a collectors item. got one of the batteries to work on it before i could order my own. loaded it up and the image is pink. everything works on it, zoom, focus, recording, playback… however i did some research and i think the green CCD sensor is having trouble. if the image is showing pink then the red and blue sensors must be working… anyone know anyway to fix this? or should i take it into a professional repair shop. let me know what it’s worth to do with it.

found this on facebook market place for 60$, with everything, case, charger, chords, all included. and it works. will show videos when i get tapes in.

hello, I recently bought this Sony handicam from a vintage flea market. I knew it was broken when I got it so I’m trying to figure out how to fix it. If anyone can help here is a video showing the inside the cassette won’t push in and it also won’t turn on, but it does charge if anyone knows how to fix this. Please let me know or if it’s a lost cause please let me know as well. I think there is a cable loose inside, but I’m unsure how to fix that if it’s worth the repair I will take it to a camera repair shop.
