I am considering purchasing an early 2000's Chanel classic flap bag from a reputable dealer in the UK and having it shipped to my home in New York. I am purchasing the bag for approximately $8,000 USD (or 6000 pounds). The dealer is paying the shipping fees but can anyone please advise on import duties and taxes? What can I expect?
