First time

First time

I bought this from a sweet lady today on a local marketplace, for $30. She got it in Japan years ago. I've wanted one ever since I was kid, when my brother brought one from Japan, and I listened to Pet Sounds all the way through for the first time. They're so neat. I recently ditched Spotify, and I'm eager to return to more physical media.

Switch Modding Is Special - Thanks

I'm an addict. Always will be. Been clean and sober for several years. I get obsessed over things. I love learning. It all started last year. Simple goal - play Tetris on a handheld at night. Never been great with computers and struggled with them when I was young. Thanks to the guides, I've modded multiple DS, 2DS, Wii, SNES classic, and now Switch, which I have to say is the coolest of the bunch. I appreciate this community, the developers, and the creativity in this. Thanks.

What micro SD card are you using?

What cards are people using these days in their modded Switch? Yes, cards are expensive. So far I've stuck to SanDisk and Samsung. I've been reluctant to try anything else, based on past posts about other cards having a higher propensity for being fakes or going bad. I'm curious about any other options. Has anyone used this Lexar card (any size)? I understand it was bought out by a Chinese company and the cards are similar to Walmart's cards. Any others you like?

Thanks

Hi, first time caller here. I just want to say thanks to everyone here, especially people like MadFrank. I really appreciate the support, sharing of knowledge, and detailed explanations. I've never been very competent with computers. I'm a Social Worker by trade. I got back into video games last year, to bring more joy into my life. I started modding the 2DS and DS, then SNES mini (with 5,000 games from 24 different consoles) and now Switch. Watching these communities of shared interests has also been validating, as most people don't understand/care about this niche. So thank you to all of you. I appreciate you.
