[PC] [2000s-2010s] A quest\finding objects game on windows XP

It was a quest or a game where you like need to find objects to progress i think, idk it was like 13 years ago, I was playing it on my gramps windows XP computer so id assume it was pretty old. The game was set in like 1920s-1930s probably, it starts with the main character driving his car (it was an old one, think Citroen 2CV old) and a pitch black person appears in front of it and makes the MC crash or like just stop. eventually i think the MC gets into an old town (or he crashed in the said town). and i think there was a location with an old (crashed i think but maybe not) train (like steam engine but don't take my word for it i was literally 4-5 yo)

[Multi lines] The unexpected savior {Read body}

plot: Your OC (preferably a law enforcement one, but any will do) somehow ended up in a desert. After quite some time of wandering around just trying to find at least a couple sips of water, they felt that their body started giving up on them. Starvation and dehydration were slowly killing your character, who was trapped, lying on scorching hot sand in the middle of nowhere. But then, something happened. Right before they passed out, a deafening roar shattered the silence of a sandy terrain. a beaten, custom made Chevy Suburban pickup stopped right in front of them, its wheel reflecting your OC's face. A young male's voice muttered something in Spanish, and then it was all dark.

Your character was waken up by sun hitting their eyelids. After opening their eyes, they found themselves lying in a sleeping bag, stripped off their weapons if they had any. The strange guy sitting next to them poured some cold water into their mouth, not quite understanding that they were not asleep anymore. The guy was muttering under his breath:

"God, don't die on me at least, I have a lot of other problems than a dead person on my hands..."

RULES:

Combat not encouraged (after all, he saved you)

Romance allowed (he's straight though)

Have fun!

Food duplication bug

Me and my friends found a really weird glitch to duplicate food. If you look into your fridge, right click and press "consume" on a raw piece of food (any raw piece of food, steaks, drumsticks, etc.) but don't confirm that you want to eat it, you can put it on the frying pans/into soups. You can make like 10 fried drumsticks from 1 raw that way

As far as I understand, the conspiracy theorist guy from Flathill is a different person from Marion. But what is known about him?

I know only that Dr. Strauss greenlit the operation to kill the poor fella, and that his name was something along the lines of Andrew. Is there any other holograms/emails regarding the dude?
