Is there any way to add an EWS reservation after CUSAT registration? Need advice.

Hi guys,

I'm posting on behalf of a friend who is appearing for CUSAT CAT 2026.

She belongs to the General category and is eligible for the EWS reservation, but unfortunately she was not aware of it during the registration process. Because of this, she applied under the General category and did not claim EWS.

After realizing the mistake, she immediately emailed the admissions office requesting whether the EWS category could be added, but her request was declined.

Her rank is a little above 6000, and she is hoping to get SOE Civil Engineering, which seems much more achievable if her EWS reservation could be considered.

Has anyone here faced a similar situation or knows someone who has?

Is there any provision to submit the EWS certificate later?

Can it be considered during any later allotment or spot admission?

Is there any official procedure, appeal, or authority she can approach?

We completely understand that admission rules are strict, but we're hoping to know if there is any legitimate option available.

Any guidance or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Title: KEAM Rank 51022 💀 What would I do? Plz help me

I managed to secure a majestic KEAM rank of 51022

Reality has hit harder than expected, so I'm looking for realistic advice. Which colleges/branches should I actually keep in my priority list?

I'm mainly looking for government/government-aided colleges because management seats aren't really an option for me financially.

Is CSE completely out of the picture, or are there any decent options left?

I also likes ECE and IT besides CSE

I'd prefer colleges around South Kerala (Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram, Alappuzha, etc.).

If you were in my place, what colleges/branches would you put in the priority list? Any hidden gems or realistic options?

Feel free to roast my rank... but please drop some useful suggestions too and if u can plz create me a priority list .

Failed JEE aspirant. A victim of CBSE's OSM evaluation. Designed this T-shirt from the frustration I went through. What do you think?

I'm 19. I just passed Class 12 this year.

I couldn't clear JEE, my KEAM rank was also not good and I genuinely feel I was affected by CBSE's OSM evaluation.

Instead of keeping that frustration to myself, I turned it into this T-shirt.

It's not about saying exams are useless. It's about how strange it feels that years of hard work can be judged by a single 3-hour exam.

Do you relate to this, or do you think I'm looking at it the wrong way?
