I have gigabit service. My current setup is a CR1000a with 2 CE1000a extenders connected via coax. The MoCA LAN performs beautifully, but the only LAN connection that can get than 200 Mbps upload is an ethernet connection to the router itself. Any other point on my LAN will choke around 200 Mbps upload.

From what I looked at, it seems that the CE1000a is compatible with the CHR30a, but I'm wondering if replacing the router and leaving the extenders in place would improve the whole thing via better handing on the CHR30a's end as a main router.

I have an M1 Mac mini setup as my server for my media, Time Machine, and a few other things. The Sandisk external SSD I'm using randomly pops up "Disk not ejected properly" notifications and I have no idea how to fix it. It was turning the share into read only mode for Time Machine and stopping Time Machine backups until I turned File Sharing off and back on, but since I enabled "Allow Hard disks to sleep" that doesn't seem to be happening, but the eject messages persist.

Any idea how I can fix this other than setting the Mac mini to never go to system sleep? I'd rather not have to do that since I don't want to waste power.
