Any advice here? Preferably pc players. I feel like every couple of games my team tilts because we don’t have another support ult even though I’m consistently ace and get value. My team ends up losing their mental and just feeding. I have hit celestial multiple times but can’t seem to get to eternity. Wondering if there are any fellow Jeff players at this elo that have made the leap to eternity solo queue and how.
Everyone knows Gambit is OP but the only feedback ever given is “nerf gambit”. In his current state, he is an ult merchant. His neutral has been nerfed into mediocracy which is ironic given his ult has always been the problem.
His currently gameplay loop is focused on building ult and cycling as quick as possible while matching the other gambit- removing the original skill expression this character had while leaving the core problem of his ult intact.
Here is how to fix him.
Split his ult into offensive or defensive options just like his cards. Press Q for ult then F for offensive. E for defensive.
F should give movement speed, damage boost, and jump boost as it already does. Nothing else.
E should cleanse, instant burst heal, give healing over time, and ult charge boost as it already does. Nothing else. You are just breaking up the ult abilities. Not adding new ones.
To make up for this, revert his healing hearts bridge boost change (ee) to allow him better burst healing in neutral. That’s it. Although I feel his neutral is still pretty weak compared to other supports, this is a good start. I could argue other neutral reverts but I’m sure the community would be hesitant. That said he is dramatically worse in neutral right now than anyone believes because people hate his ult so much and this should be addressed once the ult is fixed.

- Loki game mode has no rewards
- Loki is massively OP (95%+ winrate easily each game)
- Massive glitches (keybinds resetting after mind control for multiple heroes)
- Loki game mode is 1v6 instead of PvE (I know we’ve known this but it would have been much cooler to have these movie events release as PvE modes similar to bloodhunt and would have gotten way more hype than this terrible 2-5 minute game mode)
- Potential widow rework to support hype turned out to be nothing burger
- New lobby menu is locked to the 6 avengers heroes
- New lobby menu doesn’t show friends in your party
- New lobby menu doesn’t show your calling card anymore
- Lobby menu is 1600 units, way overpriced
I feel these all would have been objectively positive if implemented.
