I will be traveling at the end of this month with my 6 month old BSH. She regularly goes on car rides during the week as I take her to and from work with me which is only about a 30 minute ride each way, and she does fine. My family and I are traveling to our cabin which is about a 5-6 hour car ride. I understand many people don’t travel in the car with their BSH, but the car rides that I regularly take her on she does fine. I also am not really comfortable with getting her boarded somewhere. Any suggestions on how to make the car ride as comfortable as possible? Should I start getting her more familiar with a leash so I can periodically stop to have her stretch her legs outside? Any recommendations welcome from those who have done something similar before. Thank you in advance!

I’m not sure how I’ll ever get anything done ever again. Like I might as well quit my job at this point because how can I go to work knowing this sweet baby face is at home?! Meet little Ms. Maisie 😻

First off, I am a female with little to no knowledge of how to do car maintenance on my own, although at this point I should probably just learn.. I have 2012 Lexus IS250. Have had it for 10 years. Current mileage is a little under 160K. I’ve always had routine services on it and for the first 5 years I had it I always took it to the dealership (huge mistake). The shop I have been taking my car to for the last 5 years will always make honest recommendations on what is actually necessary and I always do it with no hesitation. However, I needed a simple oil change and the shop was booked out the next two weekends so I figured I’d just take it to the dealer ship for a simple oil change. Look at the laundry list of things they are recommending or saying I need done.. mostly concerning the timing cover reseal 💀 my car isn’t even worth $7500 ffs. Can anyone chime in who’s had the same service recommended? I plan on taking it to the normal shop I go to and having him look at the list. He’s never once mentioned to me in the past about the timing cover leaking oil.

I feed this feral cat and a few others in a daily basis. This cat in particular (neutered male, had TNR’d about 2-3 months ago) regularly has deep scratches and injuries that I am guessing are from the other feral cats in my neighborhood, most of which are fixed females. I am only able to pet 2 of them, but he is a lot more friendly than the rest. I have never observed injuries on any of the other ones. Is there a reason why he might be continuously getting injured by the other cats? And this specific injury, is there any type of spray or ointment I can purchase to help prevent an infection? I am getting increasingly more concerned about him 😢 the injuries seem to be getting more frequent. My local shelter will NOT treat any minor injuries nor will they taken in feral cats which they deem to be in “good” health, and I say good lightly. I’ve already tried.

I went to my derm to get Botox today and I had asked for recommendations for lightening some freckles and discoloration from acne scars. She prescribed me Hydroquinone that also has tret in it. When reading through other people’s posts in this thread, I didn’t see many people who were prescribed 8% Hydroquinone. If you have been prescribed this with similar ingredients to mine, what was your experience? I attached a picture of the prescription. Thanks in advance!

I made a few posts previously about a litter of 5 kittens I found in my backyard where my neighbor took 3 to keep, and I was going to keep the remaining two but they ended up being euthanized by the shelter. I thought I would give an update that I ended up calling back and the shelter confirmed they did have panleuk.. I reached out to my neighbor who took the other three and hers are all doing really great. Also, equally as important, I was able to work with a local TNR group who helped me trap and spay 4 of the ferals in my neighborhood 🥹 I am so so grateful! The last picture I took with my sweet little angel babies and some other pictures of 3/4 of the feral friends who have been TNR’d!
