Long time Customer here, Bob Loblaw…

So Cox crapped the bed, again.

We’d already had a serious discussion about this problem, and I felt like we had a clear understanding, but unfortunately not.

Jumping ship was a lot easier than I expected! I immediately went with a competitor, and that is actually still going very well.

I just turned in my old cox equipment today.

Here’s the thing: I am still a cox customer. I have not canceled yet. I keep telling them that I am on the fence about remaining a three decades long customer, and no one gives a shit.

The new service is working fine, so I will probably stick with it and cancel the toxicity that is cox. But WTF!?

No one at Cox actually cares. Like the only two people in their service center were just like, “Yeah, we get it. That totally sucks. Go girl!”.

Even their own employees are wishing you well, on your way out of hell. WOW!

Decision Made!!!

Things I Love…

Everything is going to SHt, but I still have some Love to give! Clinging to it. Thought I would share. No hate please. That misses the point. Let us have some hope, even if it’s silly. So shutty-shutty with the dark clouds, huh?? (just on this post—let loose elsewhere).

Love, love, love the hustle and the variety! Love seeing the beauty of the land where it is that I am. The rural runs are sometimes brutal and barely profitable, but they’re the most satisfying and often involve the chillest, coolest customers. The vistas are straight soul renewing (I have mountains).

Love that I don’t HAVE to be on point to interact with every customer! That is a massive relief! You do have to be ready for that to be a possibility (and some days more than others), but mostly it’s easy.

I’m kinda struggling with young people treating me like a special needs person over every single thing, nearly every single time, at every store for no good reason- but I’m getting used to it now. And that just makes me appreciate and love the well-adjusted, normal kids that much more. When they’re good, they’re extra awesome.

I love it still (for now). And as a part-timer it’s still good. Not AS good as it was not long ago, but still better than anything else.
