Spare room: where to place the bed?
My tenant has just moved out and I would like to turn his room into more of a multi-use spare room where I can use a computer, sewing machine, add a TV etc.
I want to keep the bed as it's nice for guests, but want to move it into a corner so it takes up less of the room. Where do you think it should go?
This is the current layout with the bed in the middle, not much space
Bed in top-left corner, facing wall. Prefer this layout but hate the gap between the headboard and the wall
Bed in top-right corner, facing wall. Like this layout, but the room on the other side of the head is the toilet. Also might be unnerving to have head by the door (though there is room for bedside table or divider)
Bed in top-right corner, facing door. Not keen on this as the feet are right by the door, and doesn't actually free up much space
What do you think?
(before you ask about the desk blocking the closet door, I'm replacing door with beads so there is more space for a big work desk 😁)
