Now, I will obviously get fried for saying this here since reddit uses this excuse almost as often as the brainless children on youtube do, but I still want to talk about it and maybe open the eyes of some ppl, even if just one or two. Let me also clarify that yes, many times, ppl on twitter create drama out of nothing. However the rate at which this happens is not remotely close to being often enough to just dismiss everything as "twitter being twitter".

Ppl keep saying this type of bs just to avoid any type of critical thinking. Like at this point you could literally kill someone and youtube audiences would dumb it down to "twitter being twitter". Can we pls acknowledge that some things are actually worth being talked about? Can we acknowledge that not everything is just superficial bs that should be given a pass? Cuz if you're a notable figure in this community, all you have to do to get away with your shady behavior is grow your youtube channel and basically everyone will turn a blind eye to whatever you do. That's why bum ass s*rvax was able to come back to youtube and get a bunch of support.

Cursed recently made a misogynistic comment towards doggie and rena, to which he already apologized for. That said, ppl (especially women) have the right to question how such a comment even makes it to the video to then be blasted to an audience of children. Being upset that your identity is basically reduced to nothing isn't just "twitter being twitter", it's actually just basic human functionality. Most women would be weirded out and uncomfortable by that. Now I'm not trying to kick Cursed out of the community or anything, he already apologized to doggie and rena and to the public so it should be settled imo. My problem is how ppl just do not even try to think about why someone would be upset over this type of situations, same thing happened with the nexus drama recently.

Ppl have been complaining about his misleading titles and his scummy practices for a while now, it isn't anything new. It's not hard to find comments talking about how nexus was better when he actually beat most levels he showcased, but that's beside the point. A lot of ppl failed to understand why the Antartic Lights drama actually happened. No one said Nexus was the next coming of Satan or anything so stop acting like it. The only person who said anything even remotely close to that was Toka, on twitter, he's openly a rage baiter and his gimmick is to basically trace everything back to the mustache man, he's done it with every drama in recent times and nexus was no different (but ofc someone posted him here and pretended he was dead serious). Ppl were just upset that a basic request was dismissed (the belief at the time was that Axinity had asked nexus directly not to showcase the level), there's nothing wrong with that. Creators are literally the reason that the game is still alive, so maybe basic respect would actually be nice. That's why saying "the level actually doesn't belong to the creators once published" is complete bs as well. Yes, it is true, however it doesn't make it any less disrespectful. Just bc you can do something, doesn't mean you should. Plus this excuse is only used when it's time to save your favorite showcaser from controversy. Whenever robtop decides not to rate whatever level is trending at the time, suddenly the fact that such levels are all his property and he's not obligated to rate them goes completely out the window. So convenient. It may look like I got side tracked here, but my point is to show that there's actual depth to this situation and that just thinking about it for a minute or two would lead you to the conclusion that some ppl are, in fact, reasonably upset about it.

And you might say "oh but with twitter making drama out of everything the community will become nothing but a morality contest" which I agree with being a possibility, but that's only happening if you sway all the way to the other side of the spectrum, bc as of rn, the community is objectively not a morality contest, it isn't all that overly woke at all (not implying that being woke is bad, it's actually great, but being overly woke to the point where it becomes a morality contest is the actual problem) yet look at its state. I've been around since 2017 and I can tell you that since 2023, the community has been breaking the scale on transphobia, misogyny and toxicity. The community has also never been this parasocial before with so many ppl believing that each step zoink takes is meticulously orchestrated to tear wpopoff apart limb by limb to the point where it just looks like a mental illness. Level discourse is complete garbage as well with any level that actually looks like classic geometry dash (yk? the game we're all into) being deemed as soulless garbage (and other buzzwords like "slop") regardless of its gameplay quality, as long as it doesn't span for an eternity like killstealer does (just like penumbral was called the worst level ever and bla bla bla just to be top 3 most fun to play top 15s as of rn and artemis 13 likely seeing a similar fate). A grey scale top 1 using a rukkus song that lasts for like a minute is considered the worst thing ever today, which is funny cuz that's basically firework but it never got nearly as much hate back when it was made. Anyways, now I DID get a bit sidetracked, but I like to write and yap so it is what it is.

I feel like niggas didn't really care about slump dotty and just showed loved to him here and there before him and mdot started """beefing""" and benji started saying he shouldn't be making music, after that most places I see slump dotty being mentioned there's multiple kids saying his shit garbage. I think I saw a clip of him talking about this too.
