I wasnt watching today's stream so could anyone explain

Check out his video on the matter but here are his arguments kind of summarised.

1. After a level gets verified, there is naturally a big race for the title of first victor, whose winner will receive a lot of attention and praise. Now imagine you’re in said race, trying to beat an insanely hard level before everyone else. You give it your best shot and think you might have a chance, only for someone to make insane progress on the level which seemed completely impossible, due to pre practice.

Imagine you’re in a race, you trained a lot for this. You get ready, eagerly awaiting the start. You look up and right beside you, someone starts sprinting, long before the start.

But no one cares. Not the referee, not the viewers. No one.

The race officially starts and you make it about half way before the person who started early arrives at the end. How is that fair? How does this make sense?

Well it doesn’t.

2. Let’s say that you are someone like doggie and you have just verified an impossibly hard level. It was so hard in fact that it took you until your second streaming moth to get the level in 2 runs (that actually was the case for Grief). Excitedly, you go onto youtube and want to see how other people are doing at your level, only to see that 3 people already have the level in 2 runs after 4 days of playing. That must feel bad doesn’t it?

And even if they admit to pre practice, it will still give out the impression that the level might not be all that hard as it actually is. I have seen a lot of people talking about how Grief might actually not be top 1 (way more than I ever expected to see).

What are your thoughts on this. Please watch spookkd’s actual video on this (it’s very good).

So I recently noticed I'm actually getting pretty darn good at making thumbnails so eh, why not, I'll try to get a side gig going on that I suppose, and as such I'm giving the GD reddit 48 hours to get free stuff from me because I'm feeling nice lol

Give me a level you want me to make a thumbnail for and you'll recieve it as a reply within the next 3 days of this post going live (could be more if I get a lot of requests and I can't keep up). Obviously if you want me to use a specific screenshot or add certain elements, make sure to specify, otherwise I'll just do my own thing :) (be reasonable with the requests for what to add tho)

Thumbnails will be done in 1920x1080, so for any screenshots please make sure the size is somewhat similar, if you send me an image you want as a background and it's 480p it will look terrible

I will not be making stuff for people who comment after October 5th 2026 at 5PM CEST (It's currently 4:30PM for me so technically y'all have 48.5 hours but 48 sounds better)

There are some things that feel obvious to me but internet is allergic to common sense at times, so rules of this "giveaway" let's call it go as follows:

- TWO (2) THUMBNAILS PER PERSON MAX, I do not want to get flooded by 30 requests from one guy, if you ask for more than two I will just pick two and that's all you're getting

- I can refuse to make a thumbnail if you want specific elements I don't feel comfortable with putting in or similar stuff, basically you cannot force me to make something if I'm uncomfortable with the request

- I don't do joke thumbnails, my style is what I'd like to call pretty clean and somewhat professional, obviously putting a meme in can be doable if it's relevant to a completion (for example my Diamond Disco thumbnail, there's some context there) but leave your kirkified speeds or whatever kids find funny nowadays out of this post (I'm out of touch with humor nowadays, I really don't know what counts as "comedy" at this point)

- If you don't like something in the finished product but didn't specify enough for it to be incorrect, you're not getting it redone, keep in mind that this is all for free, so while I will obviously do my best, what you get is what you get and that's it

- When you get your thumbnail it is yours to use, but I would kindly ask for credit, my main handle is "just_anvitar" and that's what I'd like you to @, plus that's my discord if you want to reach out for more stuff :)

I think there's nothing more to be said, go nuts :P

PS. Yes, the Bloodbath thumbnail has a visual glitch with the glow being cut off at the top, I know, I didn't catch it when I made it initially D:

I feel like for the longest time, Grief was considered one of the "easier" upcoming top 1s. Especially so when heliopolis was announced to be an open verification and Zoink picked it up. But ever since Mindcap made that one post saying that unbuffed helio could be easier than Grief, I feel like the community perception of the level made a 180, and suddenly it's harder than every upcoming top 1.

Obviously none of us can make a comment on Grief's difficulty, but you're genuinely attacked if you ever suggest that there's an upcoming top 1 of comparable difficulty.

Helio is comparable to grief? Nope grief is way harder because the bloodbath hardest guy said so.

SD2 is comparable to grief? Nope because 3 minute long wave levels can never be dethroned by a 1 minute long level (*cough cough* amethyst and tidal wave)

Angelicide is comparable to grief? Nope because the angelicide verifier is "not a top player" and the level is easier than we all think.

Doggie does not have a reliable opinion on any other level besides Grief. He doesn't know that it's harder than heliopolis. He doesn't know that 65% is tidal wave difficulty. I'd go as far as to say he doesn't have a reliable opinion on grief either. The level has gone through so many changes and such an unconventional verification process on a top 1 would bias any verifier.

The song is perfect for the level, it has the vibe of something very long and excruciating. It (song) starts kinda mysterious while the level has super easy clicks, and the ending gets more "relaxing" while you have to work with crazy nerve control and timings, I love how the song makes parts more "balanced" in terms of the vibe. The beginning just screams "a crazy trial is waiting for you". The level gets a lot of hate for having 0 deco except for the moving background as if that's not the whole point. The background was made in 2.1 and uses an insane amount of objects as everything was separately made with the no-touch deco lines. I personally love the idea of no deco, no speed changes, no game modes but the generic cube, no moving structures or anything, but just simple blocks and spikes making a top 20 level. I'm not saying you have to love it and I understand why a lot of people wouldn't, but can I please get a few Every End fans in the replies so I know I'm not the only one?

Ts actually feels like the final boss of GD and its crazy to think that it'll get dethroned in the future cuz it just looks so intimidating and ominous

i beat this a few days ago but didn't posted it anywhere sooo yeah i started this as a "side quest" and thought i'd beat this instantly when i did 25-100 on my first week of playing but little me didn't know that this level was one of the most progress bait levels on the list lol

it Took me 4 weeks to beat this, would've beaten it a week earlier if i didn't choked at 91 but whatever.
