Gary Oldman’s character is the washed up spymaster in charge of Slough House, the place MI5 sends their outcasts, rejects and losers that they can’t justify or be bothered to fire. It’s excellent, tense, very funny and feels very similar to the Whole Sick Crew. I can’t get enough

I’m curious how people read the potential political climate at the end of the game. >!Does the Superbloc always end up at the bottom, because they played right into the Luzian’s hands? Does La Luz always consider it a win because they just want an excuse to invade Portofiro? Does EMTERR actually come up on top if they maintain control of the real Facundo Reyes?!<
I’ve found the 1960s/1970s Cold War aesthetic and lore of this game to be absolutely fascinating. Been reading La Carre’s work because of it.
Basically, one of my players is a disgraced noble. His family has fallen from grace and landed in a ton of debt, and he made things worse in an attempt to get them out of debt. He dealt with a mysterious/secret underground group to try and change his family’s fortunes, but it backfired. Now he’s shunned and disowned by his noble family.
I think this group could be a cool antagonist for my player but I’m struggling to bring it to life. The factions in the book don’t fit the bill for me and I’m unsure how I should go about creating this faction otherwise. Any advice or ideas?
