Hi all

I’m currently in FNQ for a few weeks holiday and am visiting the tablelands… I’ve been here 3 days so far and it has rained in Lake Eacham and Atherton nearly the entire time and only 15-18 degrees. Is this normal?

Everywhere I’d read said August would have very low chance of rain. The temperature doesn’t bother me as I’m from NZ so this is well above our winter temps, but I didn’t expect it to be bucketing down relentless the entire time. I did go to Granite Gorge yesterday and it was lovely and sunny with 24 degrees, but where we’re staying has been incredibly wet.

Heading to Cairns later this week and then Port Douglas so hoping next week is dryer.

Just curious to hear from locals what is normal in August… thanks!

My partner and I are coming to FNQ in August for 3 weeks and (with the help of AI) have pulled together an itinerary we hope is balanced and won’t involve too much driving.

Could we please get some advice on whether there are other things we should consider including or if some things should be dropped? Particularly curious about the Paronella Park (day 5-6) part, whether it’s worth all the driving etc or if I should just stay in the Tablelands / Cairns.

Also have extras listed below … any of these worth subbing in?

Looking for a high-quality buffet-style
Restaurant that does a Sunday roast (or similar)… have a birthday coming up so would like to go somewhere nice.

I’m also a bit sensitive to processed foods so another reason I’d like to somewhere better quality.

Any ideas, preferably closer to central but can venture out as needed.

Hi all

So I have recently replayed the Agent and Warrior stories and thinking it’s time for a republic story run!

For some reason, I’m gravitating to consular … I haven’t played this story in years and recall the male voice being odd and romance with Nadia weirdly creepy … so I’m going with a LS female this time.

Has anyone got any tips? Is sage or shadow better fit for the story? Is the romance any good?
