Do you think political left: socialism, ecologism, liberalism are inherently against pessimism? Since pessimism is the secular equivallent of buddhism, progressive Ideologies are abrahamic descendents. Pessimism I assume stands outside of political Ideologies, if not is itself political, nor left, nor right in the conventional sense.
