Almost no people on dating apps?

My cousin created an account on hinge, bumble and tinder just for fun. It seems like there are like 10 girls on hinge, 20 on bumble and maybe 100 on tinder.

Plus A LOT of israelis. It seems like such apps aren’t really used here?

Your opinion on Einstein?

Tldr. I think it’s somewhat expensive but absolutely not underpriced. I was recently at Starbucks and was shocked by the prices. Way more expensive than einstein. I went to Einstein at the Zoologischer Garten. Am I delusional or is it actually like I perceive it to be?

Disclaimer: I’m new to the whole Café’s game

Anime, Movie or Rock events?

Hi so I am Lebanese Diaspora and have around 8 days left for my current stay. I have heard that the three mentioned above are gaining more and more traction and I’d like to meet like minded people.

I’d also really like going to some diaspora targeted events to possibly meet people who also live in Germany.

How does “dating” work here?

Hi, so I’m born Lebanese but I was raised and livr in Germany. I wanted to know how “dating” works here. I can’t imagine that strictly approaching someone in a cafe or anything is the proper call, especially in muslim dominant areas. In Germany it’s easier: You just approach, have a certain stage where you’re getting closer but are not lovers (religious constraints) and then you introduce families.
Personally I could go over the border of dating but at a certain distance. I. E. no physical contact etc. and keeping a respectful limit to at least not fully act against religious beliefs.

So does anyone have any suggestions? I do speak the language, though have a bit of difficulties here and there. I guess that’s just normal for people who are arab but speak Arabic only as a secondary language.

And in Germany (at least in my region) it is next to impossible to find someone whom I’d marry. The Lebanese subculture there is a lot different, to keep it simple.

So small rant here but have y’all got any tips?
Again, asking for a Sunni Muslim here.

Lebanese people, groups, events?

Hi so I was born and raised in Berlin but compared to many that I’ve witnessed I am still very connected to my Lebanese roots.
Atm I am here in Lebanon and thought about y etc. because I’m slowly reaching that age.

I found it personally hard to connect with people here, due to the way “dating” works. The fact that I haven’t fully mastered the language doesn’t help. And I kinda want to date someone with shared roots and possibly views/interests to keep my heritage and culture in the family.

Are there Groups, Events and more where I could meet Lebanese people and potentially a romantic interest?

And to deflect some possible comments: I don’t think dating apps are the go here

Places, Groups and Opportunities for meeting People?

I’ve (M21) got a genuine question regarding finding a partner for future marriage (sometime in the next few years). I live in Germany and visit lebanon somewhat frequently (once a year). I was wondering what ways there are to connect with people here in a natural manner. In Europe there’s Uni, Work, Events for certain interests etc., but here I just don’t know tbh. After all I neither study nor work here.

I’m not the kind of guy that’d just take someone the family recommended without actually knowing them let alone having a few common views/interests. I also just find it a bit difficult to communicate with someone who doesn’t really speak another language. I obviously do speak Arabic but not to the same extent compared to German or English. (I’m kinda solid with other European languages too like Italian, Spanish or French but my Arabic surpasses those)

Are there Groups, Events or Sites etc. for people to connect? Meaning people that actually live here or people like me, who are Lebanese but live abroad. Seeing that I live in Germany, should you know groups etc. located there or internationally I’d be happy too.

It may sound a bit outlandish I guess but I literally live in another “land” so yeah…
In Germany it just works differently.

Are beaches safe?

This question has religious and general background.
I habe noticed that men literally look like hungry sharks when they encounter women on beaches or even when they view them from afar. Doing weird facial expressions etc. This experience was made on Beach 45 in Sayda.

I am kinda afraid to take my little sister there. Have more people made experiences similar or contrary to mine? FYI i was there with a few friends and it was my first trip to a Lebanese beach.

Second one:
I am absolutely no one that cares about your religious affiliation at all. But I was oftentimes warned to not go into the south as a Sunni because I could be physically endangered by doing do. Since I don’t live here I also won’t get me a gun-permit as it has to be renewed every year. Would y’all say that this is just superstition? I really have no Idea how the demographic groups view each other. Where I’m from people don’t give a sht.
I am not trying to attack anyone. I am really just asking.
