Phases of the game

What would you say the phases of the game are, if any?

I personally felt like progress was very quick in the beginning just unlocking new ingredients and finding new berry mons for all the different berries. That’s slowed down a lot now with my pot size being 60, but not having the mono (or even just AAB) ingredient mons with ING Finder/Ing+ natures making it hard to scrape enough ingredients for the same meal 3x a day.

I feel like the next phase would be the slow grind of finding great ingredient mons for every single ingredient and then the even slower grind of finding a BFS mon for every berry.

EDIT: I’ve been playing for six months and would categorize the initial phase as the first 1-2 months. Would imagine I can hit M15+ on every island with sufficient AB in the next couple months if I really wanted to and imagine getting M20s on every island not including EX would take two years.

What’s your bar for using a sub skill seed?

Trying to decide if I should sub skill for IFM on a Farfetch’d that’s ABA because I desperately need leeks and sausages even though that’s the only trigger/speed up. Also just have like 4 seeds lying around.

National parks or the city on the weekend?

Hi all!
Visiting seattle for the first time this Friday through Monday and am trying to decide what’s the best order to do: Mount Rainer, North Cascades, and sightseeing around the city.

I’m assuming Rainer and the city are both packed on the weekend, so planning to slot in North Cascades on Saturday which leaves Sunday to either visit Rainer or sight see around the city and then Monday to do whichever I didn’t do.

I feel like it could potentially be chaotic trying to navigate around the city on a Sunday while the world cup is in town, so leaning towards sightseeing on Monday and Rainier on Sunday, but I also feel like Rainier could be very busy on Sunday and between the two, being in a city while it’s busy is a slightly nicer alternative to being surrounded by people on a trail, but maybe I’m just being over dramatic and overthinking it.

Any suggestions or advice are welcome and much appreciated!
