I have a few AAA ing mons that I settled on in the past that just doesn't seem to be producing enough for these bigger recipes.

For example I have
lvl 61 Flygon with just IFM
lvl 62 Tyranitar with BFS, HSM
lvl 60 meowscarada with IFS

They score 85+ on the raenox rate my pokemon, but I feel like their production is quite low. I know it's going to be a lot resources and time to replace them with another 60+ ing mon, but maybe it's worth it?

I could wait for them to be powercreeped with a new ing mon, but we don't get new mons often and who knows if it'll be the right ing.

What is everyone else's opinion on the matter?

Regarding Pokémon Sleep, with the most recent update, the development handover from SELECT BUTTON has been completed. Accordingly, I will be stepping away from hands-on development duties as director, and from now on, I will be involved as an advisor.

Turning sleep into a game, integrating it with dedicated hardware, a worldwide simultaneous release... It was a series of highly challenging endeavors, but I'm proud that I was able to see it through to the end with my teammates.

After release, what made me happiest above all was receiving messages from people who struggled with insomnia saying, "Thanks to this game, I've been able to sleep much better." To bring to life the concept of "making mornings something to look forward to," and to be able to help people through game development—it truly brought me joy.

Pokémon Sleep will continue from here on out in the hands of a new team. As for myself, I'll now enjoy tracking my daily sleep alongside the app as one of its users! Thank you so much for everything up until now!

My Base question is "when to best use pokemon incense."

First day of the week makes sense ofc as there are feweres other spawns and last day of the week are maybe fewer other catchable spawns with evolutions being around.

However when using it in an event week like this at first glance "more pokemon will be hungry" seems like a great idea.

But what if other event pokemon you want spawn that are hungry and the incense pokemon is not?

If one is premium its relatively easy just use the free cookie on the incense mon + 1 pokeball.

But as a f2p you might not even catch it and you can save 2 pokeballs by catching a hungry event mon with the free cookie.

And having 3 tinkertons on the field that might not even be hungry is not even good as you only have 1 free cookie.

So from that point of view it makes sense to use it if nothing else interesting could/is likely to spawn.

But then you lose the +1 hungry probability landing on your incense mon over a random mon you don't want.

Trying to evaluate this breaks my brain :D

Anyones got a useful heuristic here. (Obviously it gets a lot kore complex with evaluating how much you want certain mons)

But it just feels soo bad to use an incense and then not to catch the mon you summened.

After two months of tracking (on two phones) I'd like to give you a Progress Update for the Shiny chances:

Unboosted - 1/161,75 (4 Shiny/647 Mons)
Boosted - NED (0 Shiny/12 Mons)
New Moon - NED (0 Shiny/82 Mons)
New Moon + BB - NED (0 Shiny/4 Mons)
Overall - 1/186,25 (4 Shiny/745 Mons)
Relaxo - 1/16 (1 Shiny/ 16 Weeks)

As you can see, for most of them there isn't enough data yet. But progress is progress, at least for the New Moon Boost it shouldn't be that long for an estimate to emerge.

The general unboosted rate seems somewhat consistent so far, with a tendency towards 1/150 in the long term.

Hi Sleepers! I’m considering doing a double sleep study every day so I can catch a good Dedenne. I’m currently M5 in OGPP and I have Pokemon go++. Do you think it’s a good idea, or does anyone use this two-sleep-study strategy? I’d like to know if it’s worth it, or if it’s better to just do one full sleep study to get 100 points. My feeling is that I’ll be able to see more sleep postures per day and therefore have a higher chance of catching a Dedenne.

I work a rotating shift pattern - 2 earlies, 2 lates and 2 nights. I’m wondering what any other shift workers did with logging sleep when working a night shift? For example tonight and tomorrow night I will be starting work at 10pm and going to bed at 7am. I’ve set up a loosely-kept schedule on Sleep for 10.30pm which has suited my early and late shifts. I’m wondering whether to pretend I’m sleeping on the app overnight while working, or to log my sleep manually which would mean I’d miss out on EXP etc?

I’ve changed my phone and used Google to transfer my data from my old phone to my new one. Unfortunately, my last night’s data isn’t showing up in Pokémon Sleep.

So I uninstalled and then reinstalled Pokémon Sleep, but the problem is that I thought you could log in with your Google account, but actually you can’t…

I only have my client code, but no transfer account.

What should I do?

What would you say the phases of the game are, if any?

I personally felt like progress was very quick in the beginning just unlocking new ingredients and finding new berry mons for all the different berries. That’s slowed down a lot now with my pot size being 60, but not having the mono (or even just AAB) ingredient mons with ING Finder/Ing+ natures making it hard to scrape enough ingredients for the same meal 3x a day.

I feel like the next phase would be the slow grind of finding great ingredient mons for every single ingredient and then the even slower grind of finding a BFS mon for every berry.

EDIT: I’ve been playing for six months and would categorize the initial phase as the first 1-2 months. Would imagine I can hit M15+ on every island with sufficient AB in the next couple months if I really wanted to and imagine getting M20s on every island not including EX would take two years.

I've been searching on this sub for the answer but I couldn't really find anything. There's obviously plenty of links in the new mons thread, but I don't think I have enough background knowledge to know how good this mon is just from looking on raenonx, for example.

I caught a hungry Captain Hat Pikachu this morning, but it was terrible. So I'm wondering if it's worth farming for a better one or not?
