Just to make sure that Im reading this right, The number beside the apple icon is how many apples will be generated in a day right?

Because I kept fuecoco in my team till evening today and he produced 0 apples. Switched to captain pikachu and he immediately generated 2 apples. Even my wobuffet generated apples more frequently. Did I just get extremely unlucky or something?

Is there any setting in raenox that I could be messing up?

How do you guys maintain a good team of personas?

I am going through my first play through of p5r and am currently at >!shido's!< palace.

I always try to make sure that joker has atleast one single target and one multi target attack of every type and any possible buffing skills that I frequently use but this seems so much more difficult to maintain.

At the end of every other palace, I have a perfect team of 5-6 personas that can handle all the fighting and then I need to fuse to keep up with the power levels and that completely ruins my team composition as not every persona inherits all the skills.

Is this normal or are you supposed to plan exact fusion pathways or something? Im always fusing so that I unlock new entries in the compendium and its 50/50 if the resulting persona will actually be useful or will just be fusion fodder so that I can have actually good set of skills

Khazan is two completely different games on normal vs expert difficulty. And I love both of them (up to a certain point)

#### . I'm still playing the game. Last boss I defeated was "reaper" and last main story boss was the dark elf ###

I started my playthrough on normal(easy) just like many here as I assumed that was the intended way. Defeated most bosses in 2-3 tries (except viper and maluca), went online and realized my mistake. I switched to expert while I was fighting Bringkus.

Now I agree completely that you learn the boss way better on expert but I think that you still have to partially do that on normal difficulty in the earlier part of the game when you don't have all the OP combos or the phantom form. Once you unlock those, the fights on normal difficulty are basically all about how fast you can chip the boss health while tanking most of the boss attacks. Expert forces you to use those combos AND learn almost all the moves before you can move on.

Essentially, the game feels like an action game on normal difficulty (kinda like black myth wukong, which I love) and a soulslike on expert. The only issue being you get too OP on normal sometime around elamine and the bosses stop feeling as satisfying but otherwise still an amazing game.

Yes, playing the game on normal means you aren't really experiencing the intended challenge but if you aren't in the mood to really learn the attack pattern of every boss, normal is still a pretty great way to experience the game.

Why weren't moranth munitions used more in this situation?

I'm on the last chapter of book 2 and Ullen just surrendered

I understand that the Seti turning their back at the last moment probably guaranteed the defeat for talian league but why the hell weren't they using moranth munitions more frequently? They had gold moranth, supposedly the best moranth fighters, with them and they only start using munitions after nait steals some and uses it on them.

I feel like the battle would have been way tougher for laseen if the irregulars were just obliterated by bombardment

Confused about the layout of Li-Heng

I'm in the middle of Ch8 right now and Hurl just got stabbed and then healed by fallow and is now retreating to the river gate.

I'm extremely confused about the actual physical space here. I thought Li-Heng was a city with three concentric walls and a river passing through the center of it.

The mob of people attacked the malazan by climbing the stairs on the inside of the outermost wall right? Then how did hurl escape at all? I have read this part twice and there is never any mention of hurl getting down the wall but somehow shaky is stuck because the wall is taken?

Also which river gate are they retreating to now? The outermost or the middle? And how was anyone able to come down the outermost wall to retreat to the middle wall? Or are the walls connected?

edit - this explained everything lol

Night of Knives is a confusing read after the main 10

Recently finished the main 10 and picked up NoK as the first novel

Overall, the plot that actually happens in the book is interesting but it's written in such a strange way. Every big confrontation happens off page and anyone except kiska and temper receive basically zero description about their motivations or pasts. Even the actual events are described very sparsely and I found myself actually struggling to understand what was happening even more than the main series. Not a bad book per se but very clearly feels like one of his very first works.

I just finished the book and it has left me feeling like this was more of a teaser trailer for an actual story that esslemont either wants to tell or is already telling in his series "path to ascendancy". Basically leaving all the good stuff to be told with kellanved or dancer's POV.

What do people think about this? Without any spoilers, Is there anything I should brace for as I continue on to RoTCG? I'm hoping he gets better at actually including these moments

Finished tCG... A few things left unclear

So finally finished the main 10 and damn was it a journey. I have some minor issues with the overall pacing but what an amazing way to end the story. I am planning to read all the novels immediately so I'm hoping atleast some of these are RAFO.

 1. Why did gruntle have to fight kilava? Was he really thinking he can singlehandedly stop all the eleint? Also, is it just gruntle who died there or trake as well?

 2. Did fener know that he was going to get sacrificed or was it just something CG planned to revive his heart?

 3. Didn't icarium use up all his essense to block the rift that nahruk had made? How does he have a body now and how is he unconscious for so long?

 4. Do we ever find out how much of the plan was kellanved and how much was tavore? I struggle to believe he planned everything that went wrong

 5. What exactly happened with the CG at the end? I read the book of the fallen so I'm assuming that cotillion didn't just kill him at the end or did he?

 6. Do any of the novels go deeper into how many times and exactly how the CG was chained or who were the ones benefiting from it, etc? All I know right now is that gods were using him as a battery basically but I don't know which ones and what they think of the ending

 7. Why exactly was the worm of autumn helping us when she apparently killed all her priests who were thinking of working with CG?

 8. What was olar ethil even planning? She just died out of nowhere (it was satisfying though)

 9. Was the entire reason to release korabas to break the chains? Also, where did all the eleint come from? I thought starvald demelain was just full of dead dragons

 10. Why did tavore need to cross the desert again? She definitely didn't seem to know about the children plus they could have defended the heart at the spire itself and would have had much bigger force to defend. Was it to split the forces or something?

What is the best racing game that support split screen?

So I googled for this and got dirt 5 as the latest game to have split screen but I was unable to actually make it work.

For reference I have a dual sense 5 and third party controller that I was connecting to my PC at the same time to try split screen. All the instructions online were about logging into your Xbox account or something so does that mean both of us need a copy of the game then? Basically I was able to use each controller independently but not at the same time

10?

Confused about the entire Tiste history

I'm on Ch5 of tCG right now but this is a question specifically from what was mentioned in DoD.

So I understand that the shake were also a people originally from Kurald Gallain and stuff but I'm very confused about the wall of light.

So both andii and liosan are supposed to be sealed in their respective warrens but gallan made a path that allowed andii to leave. Cool.

How did liosan leave then? We see the wall has many liosan submerged there but we have already seen a few liosan out.

Also, is the entire Kurald Thyrlan just a sea of light where the liosan are always drowning? Why didn't that happen to andii then?

Am I supposed to be in the dark (hehe) or am I missing something?

Finished DoD. Need confirmation if I should know these things already or RAFO

Firstly, I don't understand people who say this is the worst Malazan book. I would place in the top half of my favorites. Hugely excited for TCG.

A few confusions though,

 1. Who exactly were making all the storms killing off the barghast and akryn? I first thought it was the forkrul assails but then draconus appears in one of those storms and even kchain nahruk magic looks similar

 1. Why exactly did Gurull attack mappo and his group? Or was that some other shigal?

 1. Who leads Kchain Nahruk? Do they have their own matrons?

 1. What was the meaning of Tool telling the Tlan Imass to be dust? I thought all of them were "dead" dead but they come back again to slaughter the senan.

 1. Was Toc forced to turn Tool away by olar ethil or does he agree with her that senan deserved to be massacred and Imass reminded of their true nature?

 1. Did setoc actually die when cafal hit her and was resurrected?

 1. Were the 14 jaghuts actually aiming to help anyone or were they only going to Hood's body and saved people on the way?

 1. What exactly was the "coup" mentioned in the last chapter? The shigal assasina who killed the matron still seemed to be following Stormy and Gesler's (and by extension Gunth Mach's) orders

I find it really funny to hear Gods themselves use "Gods below" as a figure of speech

Just finished Ch18 of DoD

Honestly the title is self explanatory. I don't know if there even would be a version like "us below" or whatever for gods but I noticed kilmandaros use "gods below" and it just tickled my funny bone. So not even just a god but an elder God, though I'm assuming the elemental gods are elder even to the "elder" gods

GPU light on but display through integrated graphics after cleaning, Need help troubleshooting

I have a two year old prebuilt from iBuyPower and it has been working perfectly fine till now.

It was getting dusty so I cleaned the insides and removed the GPU from the pcie slot but didnt disconnect the power cable to the GPU. I had already unplugged my PC and turned the power supply button off though.

I put everything back together after cleaning and now the display output is coming out of the motherboard rather than GPU. The light on the GPU are on but the fans are not running. What could be the issue? I have tried disconnecting and reseating the GPU to make sure it clicks. Still the same. Help!

Here are my specs

Case - Hyte y40 pro

CPU - ryzen 7 7800x3d

GPU - PNY verto 4080

RAM - Tforce 2x16 GB (5600MHz DDR5)

Motherboard - Asus prime x670-p wifiPSU - corsair RM850e (850W)

Am I supposed to eat even if my cores are barely drained?

This is my first playthrough and I'm at chapter 3. Just did the first fishing mission with dutch and hosea in the new lakeside camp.

How much am I supposed to eat? My cores are never drained unless I get into a fight and the in game days are too short for me to get into more than one fight a day. Should I just eat even if my cores are full? I'm always underweight and the stamina/health drain is at +55% even when I reach average weight.

I can go days without eating if I'm roaming around the map just hunting perfect pelts. On the rare occasion that I'm near our camp, Pearson's stew is always being prepared whenever I try to eat that. Almost feels like it takes him more than a day to make one damn stew

Moon?

I'm two chapters in DoD but I'm still confused about this from TtH

What exactly shattered the moon? I saw some forum discussions that mentioned that it was the jade suns that crashed in BH. If so, why did it take them months to notice that the moon was shattered?

The book makes it seem like the moon is shattered during the convergence when anomander dies but nothing hitting the moon was mentioned

Just finished TtH. Why did this need to happen in this place?

First off. What an absolutely hype ending. Crazy how many plot points were brought together in that end.

So the entire finale started in darujhistan. Why tho?

I'm assuming it's because rake needed hood to fully materialize and that needed the murders committed by gaz. Why didn't he just find a bunch of criminals, sacrifice them in an empty field and summon hood there?

Only other thing that I can think of that is darujhistan specific is cutter and the lance. Everyone else was either travelling to darujhistan for the convergence or were just sitting in darujhistan without any purpose(envy and spite)

I feel like the black coral issue would have been way simpler to solve with spinnock and rake being there plus korlat and orfantal assuming they follow kallor to the new location
