Stuck on Lady Ethereal

I'm currently on Day 3 with her, she's the 1st boss that gave me a headache, I feel like i'm hitting a wall here her attacks are relentless and she's not giving me any room to breathe haha, don't get me wrong I love fighting her but I feel like it's too much at this point. How long 'til you finally defeated her? I feel so hopeless at this point. Phase 3 sucks!

Why Ji is so fukin HOT???

(Fanart of u/Dango_me_004) I think I'm not the only one who get surprised with the real form of Ji... And his atractive body. I don't consider myself homosexual, but this body is SO FUKIN HOT. He doesn't even seems to be an old male inmortal solarian omniscient. I think I like femboys idk.

I have drawn Lady Ethereal as well as Ji!!!

I have gotten pretty far into the game of Nine Sols, I’m probably around 80% done and I’m trying my best to go for the true ending! I’m collecting every single bit of treasure, returning map chips, as well as building my relationships with the Npcs!! Wish me luck on the true ending!!

(Edit: I have beaten nine sols and gotten the true ending like I wished! Im celebrating like a Feng!!)

Lady Ethereal...... help

She is literally kicking my behind right now. I can get to phase 3 but, man, that's some work to do. I think I died to her 40 times now..... any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don’t think Eigong is a sphynx, I think she looks more like an Oriental Shorthair

Eigong is always seen with her ears flopped down, although Eigong is gray and does look bald, I think she has just really short gray hair. Her facial features also kinda look closer to the shorthair than the sphinx, what are yalls thoughts?

(Edit: My joke posts gain more traction quicker than my serious posts ;-; thanks tho fellas!!)

You guys were right, the final boss is a great fight and very well-designed!

I made a post a while ago, talking about my only disappointment with the game was the final boss. However, I learned that fight while really eagerly wanting to experience the ending and was perhaps a bit too impatient. I fought it a bunch more times now and I can consistently clear it without really getting hit. That is the sign of a good boss fight, when it initially feels like almost insurmountable but then can be clear and mastered with some practice.

I do think that the initial learning phase of the second phase is kind of difficult and punishing though. It took me a while to figure out all the different moves. I also maybe still do think that her health is a bit too high making repeating the first phase last a lot longer than it usually does in games like these. Then again, perhaps with less health it would be easier to luck your way through the fight without properly learning it? So I get that this is a tough balancing act.

Just one question though, does the battle memories have more health than the one I faced in the regular game? Or am I just misremembering it? I tried googling it, but found different answers.

Is there a lore reason why some characters and enemies can teleport, and why Yi can't?

Characters like Young Lear, Jiequan, Ji, Lady Ethereal, and Eigong—as well as enemies and minibosses like Shangui, Tieyan, Yinyue, Cixing, and others—can all teleport with ease.

Yet Yi, who was trained by both Eigong and Lear, cannot do the same for some reason.

How do I change jade in this area? (No spoilers! Give us little information as possible!)

I'm at a little mini ball that's actually quite tough, so I would like to change my jade to something more appropriate for, since I did not expect to be getting into an area where chasing Jade would be impossible.

As you might remember: root nodes simply do not exist in this area. So I would have thought they would have made an exception for this area, but I just can't find a place that will let me change it!

Given how this game recommends you change jade if you're having trouble, it's hard to believe they would just overlook this, but I just can't find out how to do it!
