Eigong vs Baron Lionel (Nine Sols vs Mina The Hollower)

Connections: Both are leaders of an island (New Kunlun and Tenebrous Isle).

Both serve as the game's final bosses.

Both manipulated and lied to their students/partners to achieve their goals of creating a form of energy (the Eternal Cauldron Project and the Spark Generators).

Both used their students/partners to achieve a specific objective (Eigong using Yi to obtain all the Sol Seals at once, and Baron using Mina to repair all the Generators).

Both aim to ensure their people's survival at any cost.

Both created monsters/mutants in an attempt to achieve their goals.

Both threw their students/partners from a great height (Eigong throwing Yi off a cliff, and Baron throwing Mina out of the Radiant Tower).

Both final battles take place at the main energy cores (the Root Core and the Radiant Tower).

Both die through a process of absorption (Eigong dying by being absorbed into the Root Core, and Baron dying by absorbing too much energy from the Generator).

Fun fact: This corpse from the Sky Tower is from this character from the Nine sols prequel manga.

It's cool that they included references to the manga in the game.

What is this creature with Jiequan in the prison area?

I was replaying the game and I'm at the prison section, and I found this painting—was this supposed to be Jiequan's pet?

Is there a lore reason why some characters and enemies can teleport, and why Yi can't?

Characters like Young Lear, Jiequan, Ji, Lady Ethereal, and Eigong—as well as enemies and minibosses like Shangui, Tieyan, Yinyue, Cixing, and others—can all teleport with ease.

Yet Yi, who was trained by both Eigong and Lear, cannot do the same for some reason.
