I’m a President’s Circle member and recently booked through a third-party site because the price was much lower than booking directly with Hertz.

I called customer service three different times trying to link my reservation to my Gold Plus Rewards profile, but none of the agents were able to make it work.

Has anyone here found a reliable way to successfully link third-party reservations and still receive President’s Circle benefits?

Hi everyone, I currently have top-tier status with both Hertz and National, and I’m pretty sure I could also get top-tier status with other rental companies through status matches. My question is: which company is easiest when booking through a third party like Booking.com or Expedia and then trying to link the reservation to my loyalty benefits?

I tried doing this with Hertz President’s Circle and it turned into a complete nightmare — in the end, they were never able to link it properly.

Has anyone had better luck with National or another company? Any recommendations?

I usually book this way because it’s significantly cheaper than booking directly with the rental company.
