Tomorrow is my orientation for high school as a freshman. I'm so nervous.
So tomorrow is orientation where all the freshman come to school like it's a normal day and I'm so scared right now. The thing is some of the kids I haven't seen since fourth grade are going to be there and I was a little of a troublemaker at my school and got suspended twice, and after I left that school, some kids have thought that I got kicked out even though I didn't. I've changed now, but I'm worried that everyone is going to start spreading rumors about me and making fun of me and stuff like that. I'm already an insecure kid and I have been cyberbullied online during homeschooling for 4 years, and I can't deal with that level of stress. I told my mom that I want ro socialize with other people or atleast make one decent friend, and my mom keeps telling me that I shouldn't want to socialize with anyone because I can't trust anyone, but she's also the same one who told me to compliment other kids next to my locker and make a good friend (wtf?). I'm not on the same level as everyone else and I haven't been able to do anything these past couple of years because learning for me is hard, and I'm skinny, so these other kids are probably going to be much more advanced and stronger than me. I've honestly thought of homeschooling again but that would be even more hard. I'm just looking for some advice for tomorrow. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
EDIT: I'm really scared right now. I probably won't even make a decent friend in high school
