Guesses on this good boi?
**Sorry to anyone who already commented! Had to delete the last post- accidentally posted a pic with one of my kids in it. Added some better pics as well. :)
Just adopted two days ago from the county shelter (he was found wandering the streets), and they had him listed as a Rough Collie Mix. He is the sweetest guy!! LOVES my toddlers and is extremely patient with all of their chaos and nonsense. He is also very good with the cats and seems to have a low prey drive; we came face to face with a deer on our recent hike and he just calmly observed it. While he is very athletic and energetic outside, he has a definite off switch and prefers to chill out/nap while inside. He is very quiet (rarely barks or whines) and observant: his mood and energy level seems to reflect that of the family.
Physically, he has that fluffy double coat on his neck and booty; other than that, it is a very coarse single coat. His ears shift between floppy and straight; it depends on how alert he is at the moment. He's pretty big (if a bit underweight) and currently weighs 55 lbs.
