Very dumb one but it was on the mind.

Saw a video talking about dino westerns and I thought itd be fun to put dinosaurs in other time periods. And a favourite was imagine an English knight on a quest to slay a dragon that was literally just a megalosaurus.

So could a fully armed and armoured knight take out a megalosaurus and if so what would be the ideal strat

Finished the photo bash plus a page on its armour.

For its shell it uses the shape of parapuzosia and the proportional shell thickness of a queen conch and the mineral structure supplied by the limpit .

Giving us a 5 meters wide shell with the thickest parts of the outer wall getting up to 20 centimeters thick of chitin scaffold reinforced by goethite iron-mineral nanofibers. Making for a pretty good defence. Helped by the fact that its already an awkward shape to bite unless you were multiple times bigger.

In terms of the skin I used the aplacophora. For its thick multi layered skin with the outer most layer being made up of a series of needle like structures. Which plays into the spines of the crown of thorns.

This gives the tentacles a bit more durability along with deterring attacks.

It also helps with insulation but I'll save that for weaponry.

Carcharamimus fulgurous.

Going for a cephalopod hybrid taking inspo from Nikola scylla and kamikaze. But with the key addition of the bulkier base of nanaimoteuthis, specifically the upper size estimation that puts its mantle around 4.4 meters.(i rounded down to 4).

That and messing around with the mantle to tentacles ratio of the giant squid got it to about 20 metres and with the length from the shell. Its total length is about 22 meters.

Speaking of the shell its meant to mimic a shark head hence the name.

Weight wise its sitting at a solid 5-7 ton range.

This may change based on shell material which i haven't decided.

Bit of foreshadowing.

Wanted to design an airbender antagonist/villain.

Obviously that's nothing new. We had zaheer and now tagah.

I wanted a different twist on it tho.

Instead of someone who wasn't raised with the culture and gained bending later in life and was never really a nomad.

Or an air nomad who was willing to take more extreme measures to defend his people.

This guy was born with airbending, born into the culture, and he hated it, finding some of the more strict and restrictive parts of air nomad culture fundamentally abtithetical to airs nature as the freest of the elements,

He should be free to do his hair as he likes

He should be free to eat what he wants.

And one day he believed he should be free to end the lives of those he found deserving.

After an incident that left his bison jin, blind in one eye and missing a horn , he would go on to execute those responsible.

Realising there's no going back he'd go on the run, now a wanted criminal especially by the new air nation.

In terms of his design is went with a more shinto buddhist look especially inspired by fujin.

I wanted his design to go against air nomad philosophy.

Hair that obstructs hus arrows.

His tattoos being redone and covered up like kyoshis mum did.

Very ornamental and ornate clothes oppose to the monks minimalism.

Running with the name mai lee as a reference ty lee and mary poppins

I imagine shes a descendant if either ty lee or one of her sisters.

This is based on that one fan theory that one of type Lee's ancestors was an air nomad.

And in this sorta redesign/au the people who got airbending after harmonic convergence were people with spiritual connections to air like the air acolytes, or people with blood ties to the air nomads.

Custom left spin equaliser stamina type with free spinning gears on a low friction ball bit

Parts arrived for that custom beyblade I posted the modle of a while back

Came out great.

And as you could expect, this thing launches opponents.

Currently running with the name Rīh

He is a second generation airbender , as in one of his parents were one of the non benders that gained airbending in tlok.

Thought his father was a member of one of the si wong tribes and he was raised by them after his mother disappeared,

But an incident would lead to the realisation hes an air bender along with death of his father and tribe. The loss of hid family would also awaken the ability of true flight, after loosing all his earthly attachments. He would later be taken in by the fair temples where hed spend the rest of his childhood.

I think a slight issue with beyblade x is that there's no upsides to a taller beyblade with the risk of bursting being added.

So im messing with ideas to make a viable tall custom blade.

Of the bat the 2 main issues are bursting and being top heavy.

My way around the first problem is a custom bit intergrated rachet. This removes the risk of bit bursting this bit will have a ball bearing in the rachet part along with free gears to reduce stamina loss on the extreme rails, and a metal free spinning tip to help lower the centre of gravity.

And to help protect from rachet bursts tge assist blade will have a lowered ring that guards the rachet. This ring will also be weighted down by being partially metal to help with the top heavy issue.

Im debating on making it also free spin or adding rubber contacts to help equalise spin.

These are all the ideas for now

Working on some designs for an air nomad video

This is a sort of au / redesign taking place after the tlok show later in korras life, this would be one of the air nomads descended from the new wave if air benders.

Im currently running with the name silka, a mix of an inuit wind spirit and the water tribe naming conventions.

Im mostly messing with how water tribe culture could influence tge new air nomads that came from their.

Did a vote on what my next video should be and redesigning the new airbenders won.

This is sort of a au/redesign since id want to tweak some mostly inconsequential stuff about how the airbenders came back.

Anyways this is just the initial idea. Im taking alot of inspiration from tge surrounding cultures that inspired the pg air nomad design

I have 4 ideas for a redesign video that ill put to a vote on my channel, one option is rwby, this is the initial idea

This is a left spin ux stamina type with large rubber contacts to help in spin stealing and metal contacts that increases owd.

And for its bit i used a destroyer bit model as the base but instead of a flat tip its on a ball.

I also added a rubber ring to the free spinning section, this should essentially be a cross of rubber defence flat and destroy.

Slightly tweaked tge model and liked the stls below if anyone wants to try print

Id usually use my school printer to make prototypes before paying to get the parts made.

A cx attack type made up of 3 slopes and a weighted assist blade made to scoop under an opponent.

Got all the parts

Both spring mechanisms work cleanly

And this thing just PUNCHES tf out of other blades

Obviously lacking in the stamina department with a 55 second average spin time on its stock combo

But thats definitely long enough to get a hit off
