So I picked up a 22 inch bass drum for 20 bucks that I stripped apart, cut, sanded, finished with a stain. I had a couple different 22 inch heads sitting around. I had a wooden hoop and a metal hoop. For some reason, it sounds more snappy with the metal hoop I think.

Either way, tell me what you think. As it look better with the metal hoop or the wooden hoop. I was thinking about stripping down the wooden hoop and staining the outside perimeter. I do wish it was a 20 inch, but the 22 still sounds pretty cool.

In all I paid 20 bucks for the bass drum, the stain I had sitting around, the drumheads I had sitting around, the only thing I had to pick up was a mount to put onto the drum which cost about 25 bucks. So I made this for a total of about 60 bucks.

Saw this Zildjian cymbals for sale for 35 bucks. I can’t find anything about this online. It’s a 10 inch Zildjian Band cymbal. Looking it up online I can’t find anything. Anyone know anything?

So in my hunt for different cymbal sounds, I came across the EFX piggyback on Guitar Center‘s website. Was only 49.99, manager (ty Michael) even knocked 15 bucks off the shipping.

Sounds pretty good, not as washy as I hoped it would be, but still sounds sweet.

Is it hard to copy and type the letters from the cymbal into the computer??

So this is a Zildjian 17 inch a custom fast crash I picked up Used from GC was looking to identify the year and saw this symbol instead of two letters. Does anyone know what it means. Thank you very much!

So I pick this China up off of Guitar Center on an impulse by, I don’t have it in my hands yet. Guy on the phone said there were no serial numbers underneath the logo. Any input would be appreciated. It’s a 16 inch China.
