Advice needed! Inheriting an oversized plant

Hi reddit,
I’m inheriting a beautiful but very large plant that i just couldn’t say no to. The problem is i don’t think he would comfortably fit anywhere in my house because of how spread out his leaves are. is there anyway i can train him, prune some leavess or anything, to make him grow more upwards? based on the research i’ve done he isn’t a climbing plant so i’m not sure if any of this is possible? any advice on how to tame this plant a little bit would be greatly appreciated. (From my research I’m pretty sure the plant is called a Thaumatophyllum Bipinnatifidum / Tree Philodendron)
Thank you in advance!!

Beginner Bind off help <3

Hi reddit!

Beginner Knitter / First time reddit poster

I’ve been knitting the loupy studio raglan cardigan and i’m having some trouble with the bind off. this is my first project (bold choice ik) and it has been going pretty well so far, i’m just a little bit lost with the cast off on the waist band. The pattern uses a tubular cast off and all tutorials i’ve found are for solely 1x1 ribbing. whereas in this pattern it is 1x1 rib with 2 knits at the start and end (as a part of the button band) i have also messed up my ribbing slightly where i missed a purl rib so it’s just 2 knits in a row, i wasnt bothered as it looks fine but now i’m not sure if it will impact my cast off. My question is will tubular bind off still work for my cardigan and if so how do i go about it? if not what would you recommend that would still look nice but is beginner friendly?

Sorry if my explanation is a bit confusing to read i’m not fully in the loop with all the knitting terms yet 🫠

Thanks in advance for your help!🩵
