Why are "all" bronzers orange?

So obviously not all, but I am a regular makeup consumer and no specialist, and I don't spend days upon days researching before buying a new makeup product. I love to visit stores and look at makeup physically, and I have noticed that most bronzers are sooo frekkin orange!

You may be fooled by the look of an unswatched product until the initial layer of the powder is gone and the true colour hides underneath..

So I will give an example, but I guess everyone is aware that this "trend" with orange bronzer has been going on for years already.

My last purchase was exactly like this. I saw the Revolution 3-palette kit with bronzer, highlighter and shimmer blush in model 'Ultra Fair'. The bronzer looked cool toned, and the price was super cheap so I figured I would grab it as a 3-kit would be nice during travels...

Opened the kit at home, the bronzer looked less cool toned without the lid, but it wasn't until I swirled my brush into it and dabbed on my very fair skin, that I saw I looked like the Orange President...

And then I saw the highlighter is pink, and the shimmer blush is like rosy orange... An extremely weird colour combination.

This is so annoying and frustrating.

Any tips for a bronzer that doesn't cost an arm or a leg, that isn't completely orange? I have neutral, fair skin.

Don't live in the US so some brands may be off limits.

Help with dryness/acne - 4m in

First of all, I'm in the EU. I've been using tret 0.025% gel cream since February this year.

Slow introduction, once a week becoming every 5th day I down to every 3rd day always sandwich method.

I have oily, leather like thick skin, which has always been prone to comedones and blackheads, but a strict regimen of cleansing and acids kept it at bay, however my face never fully looked clean and radiant.

The first weeks I experienced the expected. Some skin peeling and dryness, a purge, but also I noticed the upsides. Skin produced less oil, was looking brighter and tighter, and for some weeks I had no acne.

Then everything went downhill. My skin kept crossing over to light flaking and throwing acne and blackheads. Some days I get huge zits on my nose or between nose and cheek, or on the edge of the cheek. My skin flakes between my eyebrows (where I have thick skin), on my chin and in the "smile lines" above my mouth.

Often at around 4-5pm I notice my face starts to dry up and crack.

Routine:

AM: Cerave blemish control cleanser or Cerave hydrating cleanser, Cos de Baha Peptide toner, Cosrx PRDN serum, Avene Cleanance Hydra moisturizer, Cosrx Ultralight SPF.

PM: double cleanse with Cerave blemish control. Cos De Baha peptide toner, Bonajour Water Peptide Cream (no occlusive), Tret on every 2nd -4th day, Avene Cleanance Hydra Moisturizer.

Once a week I use Beauty of Joseon Peeling Gel, which is really mild, just to get the flaky dead skin off.

I also use hydrating sheet masks several times a week.

No other exfoliant/scrub/acid.

I have tried Cicaplast which was HORRIBLE for me and made the dryness worse, I also tried Cerave Moisturizing Lotion which also made the dryness worse. My skin felt like a sticky, clogged mess with those two.

The only product here that actually hydrates and helps me on the way is the Avene Cleanance Hydra, which I have used since before starting tret.

PS: I don't wear a lot of makeup, usually some concealer and blush, occasional days I lightly powder my T zone.

Makeup looks awful on the skin probably because of the skin barrier.
