Ghost in IMAX

Hey there. Anyone in here plan on going to see Ghost's concert film next week at the Lynnhaven AMC IMAX? Look forward to seeing you there. Just remember their policy does prohibit face paint and masks, but they do encourage costuming. I get to be a ghoul for a night!

Upcoming movie

Good morning. Late last night I came across a review of "2 Big To Rig" on youtube. While it gave no spoilers, it did reveal that one song from the 2 nights filmed was left out, presumably for technical reasons. Any ideas? I just hope to gawd it ain't Spirit. More than any other tunes, this is the one I have longed to experience live.

Recovery meetings, non-AA

Can someone suggest recovery meetings in or near Virginia Beach that are not affiliated with Alcoholics Anonymous? While I got sober through AA I find that it is a bit too restrictive to my serenity and would like to know if there are any successful groups meeting in the area. Thank you.

A quick question for ritual attendees.

I am remembering times in the past where our talented ghouls would engage in guitar battle between Devil Church and Cirice. Were they known to do this during Skeletour? Also, is Papa still giving his sex-ed lecture before Monstrance Clock?

Either way, this upcoming film is gonna stomp, if RHRN is any indication.

A little survey, just for fun.

Hey there. Having a slow day and, as my mind wanders, I begin reflecting on then/now type memories as it pertains to Ghost's music. It got me thinking, comparing, and it came down to 4 things:

  1. A song I hated at first but now love: "Dance Macabre". ABBA with guitars and hokey lyrics. Then I saw the video and got the joke.

  2. A song I liked at first but have become kinda meh over: "Twenties". Upon release, I thought I was the only person who liked it.

  3. A song I did not like at first, and still don't like: "Spillways" . I just don't know why.

  4. A song I loved instantly and never stopped loving: "Spirit". So glad they are playing this live again.

Anyone else? I would enjoy your views on this. Thanks!

In praise of incense from India.

My first ever purchase was a small bundle of sticks from Mysore Sugandhi Dhoop Factory, in 1968. It was the most exciting little rose note, one I have never found since.

That started a lifelong journey, one that that continues to reward with gifts of discovery.

Now, to my point. I get Japanese incense. I have also purchased a good deal of those styles for decades. I get how precious a lot of it is. For my money, which isn't much, it is not worth my paying magnitudes more in dollars for something that is, to me, slightly better than Indian incenses. This sub seems quite heavy in posts about Japanese incense, not so much Indian. Is there a sub where others like me may discuss Indian Incense?
