Still feels weird that we have advanced SEO tools for everything, but tracking mentions in ChatGPT/Gemini/Perplexity is mostly manual.
Are yo guys using any AI visibility trackers yet or just testing prompts manually?
A competitor recently started targeting my business with fake negative reviews on Trustpilot, and it’s honestly hurting conversions more than I expected. We’re a small e-commerce brand in the US, and since we don’t have thousands of existing reviews yet, even a few suspicious low ratings make the profile look terrible to new customers.
I already reported some of the reviews, but the process feels slow and not everything gets removed. At this point I’m trying to figure out the safest way to rebuild trust without making things worse.
Has anyone here dealt with something similar? Did you focus only on getting more genuine customer reviews, or did you use any reputation management/review services to stabilize things faster?
Also curious if being US-based matters when choosing a provider or service. I’d rather avoid anything that uses obviously fake overseas profiles because I assume that’s easier for Trustpilot to flag.
Would appreciate honest recommendations or experiences from people who’ve actually been through this.
