NYC based founder looking for a highly social/community-minded cofounder

I’ve built a hyperlocal IRL connection platform, there are some users on the app in certain geographies. We are pre-revenue. I do the tech and recruitment, looking for someone social to be the face and help us grow. If you connect with the idea and if you’re from NY or NJ, DM me.

Leather jacket and NYC summer 🫠

Today is freakin hot here in the city! And I made the ‘mistake’ of riding with my leather jacket on. I do not want to go out without some type of gear but this is not tolerable lol does anyone have good summer gear recommendations that does not look like a hoodie? Thank you good people \m/

Rider community in NYC

👋🏾 New rider here based in Brooklyn.

Built a hyper local app called IppoMeet to help people meet through real activities within their radius and communities. We’re very new in NYC and trying to grow the local side of it.

Motorcycle rides, meetups, food runs, beach rides, random NYC plans, etc.

Would genuinely appreciate feedback from the NYC riding community. 🏍️🙏🏾

Ride to Jacob Riis park: metal bridge and wind

I rode to Jacob riis today for the first time in my fat bob and I did not expect the bridge experience. It was so damn windy and riding on the metal bridge section kept moving me all over. Luckily the car behind me saw me struggling and kept a safe distance. Has anyone experienced this? Maybe this was me being a noob Harley rider.

Harley: footboard/ brake issue

I just bought a 2008 Harley Dyna Fat Bob FXDF with aftermarket forward controls/floorboards.

The rear brake originally would not return fully after pressing. A mechanic loosened the setup and now the brake works much better, but the pedal still feels like it may be binding slightly sometimes.

The floorboard and brake pedal assembly are very close together. Another mechanic mentioned the issue may be caused by the floorboard/bolt/spacer setup rather than the brake hydraulics themselves.

The floorboard also pivots/moves a bit.

Has anyone seen floorboards cause rear brake pedal binding on a Dyna before? I don’t want to buy a whole forward control kit and install it again. Any help is appreciated. 🙏
