They have their own charms. Their madness, too.

Dandy is a megalomaniac man-child, but with a boy-next-door look and old-money style. Definitely handsome! I guess people with messiah complex will fall for him, thinking they could change this guy.

James March is a man. A leader, a mentor. While Dandy is shouting that he is a god, James told the psychos around him that they are his equal. He doesn't have a boy-next-door look, but his gaze is penetrating and the way he speaks! It's like listening to a book.

Maybe if they crossed paths, James would have been a teacher to Dandy, and Dandy would have found the happiness that he was missing in life.

I'm watching season 5 now, but it is hitting differently.

I don't know if it's because I've been watching too much horror lately, and my gore bucket is now full.... Or was it because of how the story was opened?

In the previous seasons, I was introduced to the story by presenting the human side of the season. A family which had a problem, a husband separated from her wife by something supernatural and a journalist who was desperate for a hot scoop, a teenage girl who accidentally killed her bf because she didn't know she was a witch, and girls who shared the same body who was wishing for a normal life...

But season 5? The first episode was not giving me something relatable, something to connect to... It just gave the horror of the hotel through the experience of two girls which I did not see in previous seasons. Not sure if they're gonna be in the rest of the episodes.

To those who have watched this season, without spoiling, what can you say about it? Did you find it worth watching?

I also noticed Jessica and Frances were not here.

I just finished it.

Of all the seasons I watched so far, this traumatized me the most. This triggered my survival instincts because the villains were closer to real life.

But the ending.... How Ethel greeted Elsa. How everyone was there, no suffering. The show goes on, full house.

And the friends they left behind: Jimmy, Dot, Bett and Desiree now got a good life. In good family.

I really don't know what I feel... But it felt peaceful everyone you rooted for is now ok.

Well, aside from Pepper....
