NO JUDGEMENT FOR ANYTHING
Shame on you if you do judge someone for their opinion but who is someone you loved/were attracted to/could never hate - when you probably should hate them?

There’s barely any characters that are truly innocent (there are some but few), so it isn’t unheard of to like a character who’s a piece of shit - here’s where we can discuss and I’ll start.

Just finished my first rewatch of the season since its initial airing, and it’s a shame that Sarah Paulson doesn’t really care for the season because it has some absolute gems.

Her character, Audrey Tindall, is especially funny. There are so many little moments and lines from her that I had completely forgotten about.

A favorite scene of mine is where Agnes (The Butcher) is outside of Audrey’s front door having a psychotic breakdown after losing the Saturn Award and we see the recording of Audrey’s 9-1-1 call with the operator;

Audrey: "She's coming to take my Saturn!”

Operator*: “She’s trying to steal your car?”*

Audrey*: “No! My award!”*

Then later, as she and the others are being attacked in the manor, she breaks down and screams at the real Shelby;

“I’m not American, I’m not used to all this carnage.”

and the infamous; “Oh my God it’s, Agnes!”

It’s not just her character, either. The others have some great comedic moments as well.

Cuba Gooding Jr.’s character, Dominic, consoles Shelby by reassuring her that they’re going to escape and get their own spin-off.

There’s Finn Wittrock’s hillbilly character talking to the real, captured, Lee about his disappointment at not being featured in the reenactment. Lee questions how he knows about television and he responds in his inbred hillbilly mutant accent

“We’re part of the United States of America, WE GET TV.”

And, of course, there’s Cricket asking his Uber driver if he’s familiar with
“Gay for Pay.”

Sorry for rambling, but I just really appreciated the dialogue throughout this season. It has so many entertaining moments that I’d forgotten about, and is now ranked highly on my post-rewatch list. I’m excited for 13.

Are there any lines or moments you find funny, whether it’s from Roanoke or another season?

And will it be different from the one shown at Disney Expo? I'm so impatient, I can't wait anymoreee😭

at first i thought that asylum and hotel were the most gory (ive been watching in order) but jesus this is just a whole new level. never really thought id see two teens get vertically impaled!

I wanted to ask this for fun after rewatching this as an adult because I never really thought about it much before. I feel like I would’ve thrown a party if I lived there as a teenager, granted it would’ve gone terribly because it’s the fucking Murder House, but shit would’ve been crazy. Edit: whole party would be dead or run away scared shitless or some mix of both by the end.

AHS Ranking (Have Not Seen Delicate or NYC)

11. Cult - I don't hate it but is boring

12. Roanoke - Used to love it but on my recent viewing, it isn't that good

13. Red Tide - It starts strong but loses itself halfway through like most AHS seasons

14. Death Valley - I love all the black and white stuff, but the present-day stuff felt really rushed

15. Apocalypse - On rewatch, the crossover stuff (especially with Murder House) felt kind of forced in some parts

16. Asylum - I don't really love it. It has an interesting premise - except the present-day Bloody Face - but falls off near the end

17. Coven - Amazing season that could be my 4th spot any day

18. Murder House - It's obviously amazing, not much to say that hasn't been said, but I have come to love these next few seasons way more

19. Hotel - This used to be way lower, but I really only have 1 issue: The real-life serial killer usage. Yes, a show like AHS should use serial killers, but it felt kind of forced here

20. 1984 - I love things like Halloween and Friday the 13th, so having that AHS style blend with that style was great to see. Only have like one small issue: The Ramirez contradiction is really annoying, and I hope they fix it with an explanation in season 13 because Zach Villa i returning to the role

21. Freak Show - I love it all. Twisty's tragic story, Dandy's craziness, Stanley trying to kill (like Ma Petite) or use the freaks body parts (like Jimmy Darling) for a museum, the atmosphere and feeling, Elsa selling Bette and Dot to Dandy, Dell and Jimmy's relationship, even the Chester Creb stuff is great. I really can say all the things great about this season all day

So Ryan Murphy has said she’s playing 6 or 7 characters and we know Cordelia, Mammie and Karen are back but what about the others? Honestly I would do anything for Venable back but I doubt it tbh, Ryan said he searched like favourite characters and I doubt Venable was high on that list. I believe Sally will be back cause James Patrick March is back so it would make sense and everyone coming back, except the witches, seems to be dead. But Sarah doesn’t die often lmao. Billie Dean would thus make sense if we’re dealing with ghosts. Venable may be back for this reason but Tempus Infinitum. Audrey is the only other dead character so she could be back? And Ryan has said he likes Roanoke the best but she’s not that popular and I can’t see how she would fit in. Lana might have died since Roanoke which could bring her back and she’s really popular. I don’t think Bette and Dot are back because they’re a lot of work to film and this season already has so much going on and seems a bit too panicked to bother with them? Ally could be because of Kai and Winter being back but Kai seems to just be talking to the witches… so basically idk but my guess is:
1, 2, 3- Cordelia, Karen, Mammie- Confirmed
4- Billie Dean
5- Sally
6/7- Ally and/or Lana
