Episodes of Timmy being selfless in season 5.

We talk a lot about how Timmy became a lot more of a selfish prick in season 5, and it's true in some places... but I would like to remember some moments where he was kind and selfless in S5 as well. Like...

Be Young Adam West- Where he wishes Adam/Catman to be a kid again after figuring out he never had a proper childhood, which is really nice. And he also was completely ready to face the cops and defend him in the ending.

Birthday Wish- He wishes Tootie to have Cosmo and Wanda for her birthday, a obvious one. Pretty sweet.

It's a Wishful Life- Yeah, this episode is pretty infamous and bad for a good reason, but we can't argue against Timmy was being nice and selfless in all the things he did for Bickles, AJ, and his parents at the beginning (and he did all with his own hands alone, without magic!). He had every right to be angry at their ungratefulness.

Teeth for Two- Maybe can be a bit stretched, but he helped Jorgen to make up to Tooth Fairy and Tooth Fairy to forgive him. Jorgen even showed gratitude for it.

Masked Magician- He wished to be a real magician to save his parents' Block attraction and even helped a lot of people afterwards. He even helped Mr. Bickles at the ending even after he tried to destroy the town out of pettiness.

It can have more examples, but by now, yeah... he wasn't completely flanderized in this season.

Do you think episode Livin' Large would have been better if it was played with Valerie instead of Danny?

Like Valerie and Dad would recover their richiness somehow, so she could reflect on how much she changed and improved as a person, and that being rich don't feel exactly the same, and what it could mean for her social life and her ghost hunting...

It certainly would have been a much more interesting plot and episode than Danny becoming and acting like a typical snooty richie...

I really believe Rugrats in Paris was originally going to be set in Japan, but later into production it was changed to Paris because of it being ''the land of love'' and all the plot of Chas getting a new love.

Either way, doesn't it seem quite strange for the movie taking place in Paris and making a big fuss about it, but all the key-elements in story proper being heavily japanese (Kira and Kimi, the Euro-Reptarland park, the Sumo Wretlers sequence, the Kaiju-esque battle at the climax, etc)... like if they actually just changed the setting and scenary at last minute?

If ANW ever comes back someday... I do expect Goldie return and she and Peri marries, so Dev can have a fairy mother figure.

Maybe they could even have a child of their own (preferably a daugther), so Cosmo and Wanda could experience being grandparents and Dev can have a little sibling to look out for (a sister on my mind).

Super Rare Take Here: Giselle from Enchanted is what a MPDG SHOULD be!

Yeah, it's kinda sound crazy and random, but just listen me:

In several ways, we can say Giselle essentially plays a Manic Pixie Dream Girl on Robert's life- he's a jaded, extremely cynical businessman who is dellusioned with life until this literal magical princess from outer world came and make him believe on happy endings again. That's cliche-y, tired trope and story we're all familiar with. But the genial and revolutionary aspect of it is that, not only Giselle is undoubtedly the main character of the movie and we first know her life and goals before meeting Robert, but their building relationship is just as significant for both him and her, where she gradually learns to be more realistic and grounded as well. And that's a real positive.

If Robert was the protagonist or if the movie was wrote from his POV, Giselle would be just a flat-out Manic Pixie Dream Girl- this out-of-water, chaotic, strangely appealing woman who came out of all sudden to teach him to recorver his lost idealism and fun. But the movie uses a flip narrative that actually works and make Giselle a well-developed and strong character herself. SHE's the clear lead character, it's her story, with a arch and development of her own.

And also helps that Giselle is not actually interested or actively trying to improve Robert's life, she's trying to know and adapt to the real world for herself and her influence and role towards him are mostly incidental and more like a positive companionship than a real mentorship. Of course, she gives him some advice about how improving his relationship with Nancy or how to be more positive about his future, but overall she's not focused and trying to change or spice up Robert's life, and she just saw him as just a good man who was helping her through a new and confusing situation instead of someone she ''have to fix up somehow''. And also Robert- pre and post-character development and relationship- never actually idealizes or put her on a pedestal, he just becomes used to her whisms and understand and come to appreciate her for who she is.

Then that's why Enchanted is one of my absolute favorite movies of all time; they accomplished the feat of writting what would be essentially a story of brooding guy and MPDG and they actually nailed a complex, genuinely positive, and well-balanced story with a great and substantial female lead- EVEN BEFORE THIS VERY TROPE BEING COINED! We really need more movies like this!

It's possible to like Hazel and still recognize she didn't need fairies.

I mean, I'm pretty neutral about Hazel, she's quite a bland character for me, but if you relate to her so it's really great, I'm glad for you. She's a good representation for young Black viewers or autistic kids, and certainly has her heartfelt moments. And sometimes she can be funny as well.

At the same time... I think people also could just be realistic and flatly recognize her life is really great and chill and her "problems" don't warrant having fairies (c'mon, missing his older sibling and moving out on a city are common life occurrences THOUSANDS of kids goes through and survive well without magic, right? I can personally attest it). It don't RUIN her character or anything, you still can like her just fine and just admit she wasn't in actual need of fairy godparents. Her having Cosmo and Wanda is quite contrived by now, but her character is fine otherwise.

How I would have personally written Kimi in the reboot.

I didn't like or agree with them aging her up and making her 3-year-old, not at all. I certainly would have handled her differently. So how I would have wrote her character and kept her a baby? Well:

* Giving her some AGU traits- she's still cherry and adventurous, but also passionate, with a bit of a temper and sometimes snarky; A good mix.

* Giving her such a love of animals; she would absolutely adore animals and connect with them, but also be sometimes reckless and not realize when a animal is really hostile or dangerous to her, which puts her in danger.

* Maybe clashing out a bit with Tommy- like, they both like adventure and all, but they think differently and lead the way differently too. It would occasionaly lead them to argue or disagree, which could be a interesting dynamic.

* Since she's Japanese, her heritage and culture being a bridge between her and her friends, like her being savvy or familiarized with some cultural stuff other babies don't; So she would understand some foreigner things her friends wouldn't and have to explain to them when they come across this.

* About her relationship with Angelica... maybe making her a bit of a morality pet to Angelica instead? Like, Angelica is pretty mean to all, but she's slightly nicer to Kimi and has a soft spot for her; maybe because she reminds her of how she used to be or her seeing a bit of herself in the younger girl?

So a way of differentianting her from Tommy, giving her a role int the group, and still keeping her relationship with Angelica without changing her age and her still being Chuckie's little sister. What do you think of my adress? Do you think I could have worked well?

Which you prefer; season 3 or season 4?

Since they're both most frequently considered the top-tier seasons or the peak of the show. Which one of these two is the better for you?

Personally I prefer season 4, it have all my favorite episodes of the whole show. But I do love 3 too.

How you personally rank all Butch shows?

Which would be your order and grades for all? For me:

1- Danny Phantom. No surprise here, arguably Butch's best show. A perfect balance of action, drama, comedy, suspense, and lets you really wanting more of it. Season 3 was kinda off and low, but the show still ended in a better place than others. 10/10.

2- Fairly OddParents. You know, Danny Phantom can be objectly the best show, but FOP is my personal favorite, I do have a stronger emotional attachment to this one. Great humor, very imaginative plots and executions, it have one of the best supporting casts of any show ever. The first six seasons are golden for me (I really did like Poof), but the show started to go really downhill in season 7, and then die in season 9 and 10, such a disaster and a sad ending for this. Still, a undeniable classic. 8/10.

3- Tuff Puff. Eeh, it's average. The concept is pretty interesting, but the humor is all over place, the episodes can be hit-or-miss, and the main character is not the best at all. I don't really have a lot to say about it, tbh. A decent and enjoyable show at its best. 5,5/10.

4- Bunse is a Beast. Yeah, terrible. By far the worst Butch show ever done. Terrible animation, annoying characters, senseless plots, cringe-inducing humor. It might not be the worst show Nickelodeon aired in 2010s, but it's a real example of the decline of the network in that decade (and Butch himself too). Really bad here. 3/10.

Just to drop this Mandela Effect: outside of the very first episode, Cosmo and Wanda were never ''two halves of a same idiot''.

I just don't get why people seem to stick so much to this one line, that was just said one time in the very first episode. Especially because later season 1 and season 2 episodes already show Wanda as being the smarter and responsible one, much more often than Cosmo (just see carefully).

If they ever does a future new reboot for the franchise, I really wish they...

Reverting some things like:

* Make it 2D again.

* Make Betty and Harold a couple again, and at the maximum presents Betty as a bixesual who just have dated women before (or just create a new lesbian neighboor or anything)

* Give Grandpa Lou his old grumpy personality, and maybe make him a Vietnan veteran instead (tbh, I don't think Lou necessarily have to be a war veteran; I just really want him to be the grumpy, excessively nostalgic, traditional grandpa he always was; him being such a complete opposite, like a coolheaded chill hippie just don't sit right at all)

* Make Susie older and Kimi a baby again (which is really my biggest gripe with the current reboot). If they want to flesh out Kimi somehow, make her more like her AGU persona.

* Maybe the show could even be set in modern times, but reduce or remove most of the stupid reliance on modern devices and references (honestly, why every show set in 2010s onward needs to depend on latest trendy stuff like TikToks, Iphones, apps, instead of just telling a good story? We really need to see all this modern stuff thrown on our face in every media?)

How would be a episode where Timmy try to heal illnesses or extermine germs and transmitting microbes?

Which kind of havoc it could create? How would be the execution? Maybe he unintentionally end up creating a new threat and a mutating virus?

Of course, in the ending Timmy would learn that not everything can be healed or resolved with magic, some things only through science. Would be a pretty good lesson this way.

I'm not that kind of fan that just hates or reject everything new, but...

I really think Darsh and Nyra are completely unnecessary additions (and I'm someone who have any problems or don't mind Dil and Kimi at all). And the idea of Chuckie moving from his old house is completely uncalled and unnecessary as well.

I think people who complain about Timmy being imperfect or sometimes a jerk forget or don't realize the show would be pretty limited or even boring otherwise.

I always thought Timmy does behave like a realistic child- immature, sometimes self-centered, not always thinking about the consequences of their actions, sometimes forget the lessons he learned. Normal for any child or preteen.

But in the end of the day... the show is as amusing and fun as it is, because Timmy creates conflict with his actions and flaws. Something some people seem to fail in realize or recognize it.

Just imagine if Timmy was a ultra-generous, well-behaved kid, who always think before making wishes and always do wishes for others, is never selfish or irresponsible. How would be the show? Quite limited and pretty difficult to create conflict or havoc this way. And Timmy himself would be pretty boring too.

Is Angelica just going through a "terrible twosome" phase?

Also, can you imagine Tommy, Kimi, Chuckie, the twins going through a terrible twosome phasis? How chaotic it would be for each of them or all of them?

Kelly and Chelsea could have worked as separate dolls/sisters.

Like, Kelly is a 3-4 years-old, so Chelsea could have filled the huge gap between Kelly and Stacy (who's a 10 or 11-years-old preteen). Since Chelsea is supposed to be around 7 and in grade school and Kelly still a toddler, they could have just have been closer aged sisters and it would have worked well.

Plus, I think they should bring back baby Krissy as well.

A rewrite for Lights Out.

Despite this episode being so infamously panned (though not as much as It's a Wishful Life or Secret Wish, of course), I admit it does have a pretty interesting concept. A whole episode on the dark, with only the eyes of the characters visible and unexpected things happening in sequence is pretty thrilling. The real problem was the mean-spirited tone of the episode, with Cosmo and Wanda overboading on punishing Timmy for making Poof cry, putting his life in danger in several moments and the episode treating it as justified.

So, I imagine this rewriting: basically Timmy can't sleep for several nights, but for varying reasons (loud parties or musics playing all the night, several reunited dogs howling at the moon, maybe even Poof crying because of some scary movie instead of Timmy intentionally scaring him). After some days, Timmy's very tired and grumpy so he impulsively wishes for 12 hours of total darkness and blah blah. Cosmo and Wanda reluctantly grant the wish, but warn him about the legend of the fairies becoming Scary Faries who devour their godkids after being too much time in darkness, just like in the original episode. Timmy obviously don't believe and falls sleep, just for wake later and discover that his fairies are now Scary Fairies (except for Poof, maybe for being a baby, but he will going to have a different role in this version so overlook it) who are pursuing and trying to eat him (TRULY now, theres no intended revenge or reason to punish Timmy or anything being intentional this time). So the rest of the episode would be Timmy trying to survive through his wish and making everything to protect Poof as well, while encounter more and more obstacles and threats.

So the main diferences are that my version would change why Timmy couldn't sleep (in the original episode he was being mean telling Poof a horrifycally story that was obviously inappropriate for little kids, a lot less a baby), making the legend of Scary Godparents REAL and Cosmo and Wanda genuinely turning into scary monsters against their will (instead of making them unlikable by pursuing and trying to kill Timmy just to ''teach him a lesson'') and making Poof active throughout the story and Timmy trying to protect his little brother (which could proporcionate some heartwarming moments in a otherwise horror episode). Since the original episode dealt to some measure their relationship, I wanted to keep Timmy and Poof's brotherly bond present and relevant in this version as well (I still don't have a explanation for why Poof doesn't turn into a Scary Fairy like his parents, but if you have some suggestion I can utilize leave in the comments below).

So well, what do you guys think of this rewritted version?

Theres some one-short character you feel was wasted or wish have returned or became recurring?

For me, I really wish Wanda's relatives, like her Big Daddy and her sister Blonda, had became recurring characters and returned in some later episodes. Wanda and Blonda's feud was pretty entertaining and could have had a closure episode between the sisters, and her relationship with her BD was pretty sweet and would have been nice to explore (and his relationship with Mama Cosma is... intriguing), or even explore their own father-daugther relationship (Big Daddy is especially affectionate with Wanda, but what about Blonda?). But for some reason they were only in season 5... and were completely scrapped right after. Just think, we never got to see their relationship with their newphen and grandson Poof respectively. Poof NEVER got the chance to meet and interact with his maternal aunt and grandfather at all. A real shame.

(Like, fucking Fairy Hart who was also introduced in season 5 still managed to return in some episodes in season 6 and 7, but Blonda and Big Daddy never did?? WTF, writters)

I also wish Sra. Doombriger had returned and gotten a epic rematch and a real defeat (especially because her original defeat just being hit and taken by the bus was just... so lame and anticlimactic). Her existence reveals that actually theres other fairy hunters and she was such a cool and menacing presence, maybe even making Crocker to start to upping his game to keep his turf, which could have led to a interesting dynamic between the two. But after it... she was never seen or remembered again. Ever again. So frustrating, especially because the ending of her only episode literally promissed we'd be seeing more of her (''I'll be back, Turner! Some day!!''). But it never happened. Such a waste of a potential villain and sequel for a episode.

Theres the other godkids Timmy meet in Wishing Well, Molly and Dwight, these two need no explanation. Would be really nice see Timmy interacting with other godkids (outside of Remy) more often, and theres so much we could know about Molly and Dwight (why they have fairies to being with? What's the matter in their lives? Would be they're social outcasts?). Or seeing the kind of wishes Molly and Dwight does or would do. But, you know... they were only there for once, and then goodbye and have a good riddance.

These are some examples of mine. You guys particulaly do have some other? And what do you think of these particular characters?
